Collins: Trump Should Not Have Pledged to Pardon January 6 Rioters
Breitbart ^ | 01/30/2022 | Pam Key

Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that former President Donald Trump should not have said he would pardon those charged for the riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Saturday during a ‘Save America Rally’ in Texas, Trump said, “If I run and I win, we will treat those people from January 6 fairly. We will treat them fairly. And if it requires pardons, we will give them pardons because they are being treated so unfairly.”

RINO trash doesn’t understand how the typical conservative - or even typical republican - voter views the insanely unfair treatment of the Jan 6 Capitol trespassers.

It is a litmus test of their attitude towards the essential role of government and Collins fails.

I’m extremely happy that President Trump brought this pardon up. First it brings the torture of the January 6 political prisoners back into the spotlight. Second, it forces the vicious leftists to try to justify their evil acts.

In November we need to vote out every one of Mitch McConnell’s RINO pet flying monkeys.

If that withered and decrepit piece of crap is the best that Maine can do for electing a Senator then you are all LOST. If you want to accept quisling RINO-ism that borders on being Democrat and call that conservative then you’re beyond hope.

So she doesn’t give a damn about the violation of the prisoners’ Constitutional rights—the Fifth Amendment protection against depriving a defendant of of liberty without due process of law, the Sixth Amendment’s guarantee of a right to a speedy trial, and the Eighth Amendment’s prohibition of cruel and unusual punishment.

2020 election in Maine

Republican	Susan Collins	417,645 50.98
Democratic	Sara Gideon	347,223 42.39
Independent	Lisa Savage 40,579 4.95
Independent	Max Linn 13,508 1.65
Write-in 228 0.03
Total votes 819,183 100.00

The Democrats in Maine LET her win. It was Joek 430K to Trump 360K, but Collins 418K to Gideon 347K.

Why did they let her win?

January 6. Hmmmm, isn’t that the day our Representatives ran like scared little girls while trembling in a darkened corner somewhere instead of standing up and facing opposition like our Foundering Father’s did? Good thing it wasn’t King George’s soldiers (/sarcasm). So much for swearing their meaningless oaths to protect this constitution and all it stands for.

Trump didn't pledge and Collins makes no mention of the Constitutional rights lost by the prisoners.

Collins embarreses herself again.

He didn’t pledge to pardon them.

Correct. He only pledged them fair treatment.

Amen!! Political prisoners all, and its about time that all the scumbags framing them be held accountable.

‘He didn’t pledge to pardon them.’

“Correct. He only pledged them fair treatment.”

Couple of different scenarios here. One, she didn’t watch it. Has no clue how to access oan or americas voice. Newsmax

She heard it from someone.

Got freaked out hearing the size of the crowd as they’re watching Canada

Has to slam Trump

Maybe they have trouble realizing people do not get their news from the Sunday shows that she frequents. That they frequent

In any case they hav trouble realizing they’re voted in by a couple of million people in their state, in many cases as in hers, by stupid name recognition, where Trump draws tens of thousands in any state he chooses a year and a half after the election

She’s flinging mud. At Trump.

She ought to get busy working for the American people. Who voted to re elect Trump.

GOP senate are the worst offenders
