(The Hill) — President Joe Biden is leading former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) in two hypothetical, head-to-head match-ups for the 2024 presidential election, according to a new poll.
The survey, conducted by Marquette Law School, found that 43 percent of adults nationwide would support Biden if the 2024 presidential election were held today, while 33 percent would vote for Trump in a one-on-one match-up.
Sixteen percent said they would choose a different candidate, while 6 percent said they would not vote.
In a hypothetical race against DeSantis, 41 percent of adults nationwide said they would throw their support behind Biden, while 33 percent would support DeSantis.
Eighteen percent of respondents said they would vote for a different candidate, and 8 percent said they would not cast a ballot.
Only 29 percent of those polled said they want to see Trump run for president again in 2024, while 71 percent said they did not want to see him seek a second term.

The first step is for Demonrats to talk about saving democracy...i.e. if they lose the House and the Senate, it is because the Republicans have denied everyone (citizens, non-citizens, illegal aliens, dead people, invisible people, etc.) the opportunity to rightfully participate in the election.

I’ve never heard of a law school conducting a poll. I think a school at Marquette U. has done polls for some time. Why would the law school create another one?

This is a poll of Adults. That is meaningless, means they aren’t even registered voters, and we know even registered voters mean little you have to get to likely voters to get any kind of accuracy.

Adults Nationwide are not necessarily voters or even likely voters. Further the president is not elected by national numbers. Even if this poll is scientific and not a lie altogether it is still not a reflection of the real probable outcome of such a matchup.
