Democrats throw Manchin, Sinema under the bus and court electoral disaster

The Democratic Party establishment is none too happy with Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema. Despite the fact that she votes for President Joe Biden’s agenda north of 95% of the time, her state party apparatchiks voted this past week to censure her. This for refusing, along with Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., to go along with scuttling the legislative filibuster to pass the so-called "voting rights" bill.

The obstinance of these two moderate lawmakers has drawn comparisons to Reps. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., and Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., who also exist at odds with the powers that be in the Republican Party. But the circumstances are not at all comparable. This is because Sinema and Manchin are not actually outliers; in fact, they represent a massive constituency of voters in the party of Jefferson and Jackson.

The most confounding conundrum in current American politics is why Democrats have lurched so far left, spoiling their supposed base, while ignoring millions of moderate voters in their own party, to say nothing of independents.

The conventional wisdom is that Democrat leadership and their media allies exist in a bubble. That they don’t understand that most of the country doesn’t live on the Acela corridor. But that actually makes no sense. They aren’t idiots, they can read polls just like everyone else and those polls are horrible for them.

There are at least two plausible explanations for this behavior by the party. The first is that by focusing their energy on the nation’s big cities, progressive Democrats can gain cultural power. While radical agendas on welfare, gender and education, to name a few, may play better in New York and Los Angeles than in the heartland, it is reasonable to believe that controlling politics in urban centers will influence television,

I think they’re going to discover the hard way that even the people in these areas are tired of their crap.

We can’t have Soro’s choosing our Supreme Court nominee. We need a real justice even a lefty. But we can’t have someone who just wants to tear it all down.

“I think they’re going to discover the hard way that even the people in these areas are tired of their crap.”

I’ll believe it when I see it. Leftists are too invested in the cause to ever consider it may be flawed.

What does this word “electoral” mean?

I used to think I knew what it meant, but I was proven wrong.

Now Fox talks up moderate Democrats. Every Democrat I know is a cuckoo. Moderate to them is Khrushchev vs Lenin.

What ever happened to the #Walkaway movement? I haven’t heard from it since the 2020 election, and it should have turned the Democratic Party into a minority, seeing that it has alienated the moderates in it.

Democrats may be the oldest party in the USA. Maybe it is time to die. Most of us are sorry we didn’t get rid of you in 1865.

We shouldn’t even have Soros in this country. Let’s just strip him of every single penny and material possession and send his Nazi collaborating butt to gitmo.

Except when their high end favorite stores are looted by their party's brown shirt thugs. Then what happens? What is already taking place. Move the Florida or Texas but stay aware from Arkansas!

Now if they both start caucusing with the GOP we can get this started right now! Neutralizing the worthless Harris in the Senate would be the cherry on top of a very sweet confection.

There is no “confounding conundrum.” In 2004 after the Kerry defeat, MoveOn.org said “this is our party from now on, and they meant it. With big infusions of Soros money the extremists took control. Their first victory was giving us an extremist crackpot leftist in the form of the Obama. He was supposed to sabotage the edifice of representative government, which he did to a great extent, and was to be followed up by the wrecking crew under Hillary Clinton.
They never counted on a person like Donald Trump to intervene, because it never occurred to them that the voters might still have a voice. They haven’t backed off their agenda because as we saw in 2020, they still intend for the voters to have no voice; what the voters prefer is thus of no consequence.

They’re playing the numbers. Just as they did here in IL, as long as they have the urban votes they can win every election and if you don’t agree with their politics, screw you. They know moderates don’t like what they’re doing but they don’t care, they’re playing a different game.

There are at least two plausible explanations for this behavior by the party.

And a third one that might be the most plausible of all. Biden and the Dims have thrown our southern border wide open. People need to stop calling it incompetence and call it what it actually is: the Democrat Party voter recruitment drive.

I think a big part of the Dim strategy is a belief that whatever support their radical agenda might cost them among present voters will be more than made up by the millions of future voters they'll realize from their - 100% deliberate - open borders policy.

The above and passage of their voter fraud enablement acts could give them winning vote counts for many years to come.
