I don’t think there is anything preventing Harris from voting for her own nomination.<p
The problem for the Dems would be replacing Kamala, because once she’s no longer VP, there is no more tiebreaker.

Well, the idea is certainly one of the semi-finalists for the most lunatic idea ever, but frankly, I think she is VERY politically savvy and wants that Governor position to the exclusion of anything else.

So we indeed see and hear Biden stating clearly his appointment for Supreme Court IS based on race and color. .......
Further....how well did that work out with Kamala Harris. as VP!

Add to that, they would have to nominate a new VP and with McCarthy next in line come January sans a VP and an infirm feeble Biden, why would they?
If they don't want her to be VP, there are far easier ways. Giving her an assignment like this would be a huge unforced error. It's never going to happen.

Whoever is in Biden’s camp....maybe Jill or whoever, needs to understand that this is a trap. If they nominate Heels up Harris she will accept it since she’s got no real political future. That will in turn pave the way for the Democrat party establishment to put in a VP who they think is viable. Once that is done, Biden will be swiftly pushed out. Having the totally unelectable Heels up Harris as the VP is his insurance policy. They cannot push him out so long as she would be next in line.

Right. Too big a risk, which is why (in addition to not being qualified, and not being black) I think there is only a very tiny chance that Harris gets nominated.
