DEMOCRATS IN THE House of Representatives are planning to expedite a massive bill that would dramatically increase U.S. security assistance to Ukraine and lay the groundwork for substantial new sanctions on Russia — hastening a war-friendly posture without opportunity for dissent as concerns over a military invasion abound.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., told members on a caucus call Tuesday that she’s looking to skip marking up the bill and move it straight to the House floor, setting up the possibility of a vote as soon as early next week, two congressional sources told The Intercept. The sources spoke on the condition of anonymity because they’re not authorized to talk to the press. Pelosi’s office did not immediately reply to a request for comment.

It might even be a deal that Biden and Putin cooked up together. Everybody wins. (Except the American taxpayer)

I can tell you this will probably lead to a stalemate, and then Democrats will try to suspend elections because “the other side is in league with Russia.”
The frenzy to turn everything the US does into a pile of crap is getting far too obvious.
This gravy train has been in place since Obama sent MRE’s and blankets to Ukraine during his term. Joe got a taste of the big money and now, like being on crack, is hooked.
You can thank Joe for the US going the way of the British Empire, from hero to zero in less than 1-year.
The only way to stop this might be for Putin to order an invasion and occupation of the entire Ukraine. Anything short of that, and the Ukraine will be the subject of massive foreign funding and a huge build-up of his defenses. So by doing this, Congress may cause the very thing it claims to want to avoid.
