If Trump did this, you would be saying it is reasonable for NATO to firm up NATO states with troops as Russia has 100,000 soldiers and thousands of tanks that can steamroll Ukraine and then invade those same states--which Putin just got done demanding all be kicked from NATO too.

And? These troops are going to NATO members. They are not mobilized or even capable of an invasion into Russia or assisting Ukraine. On the other hand, Russia is threatening all NATO countries that have entered the alliance since 1997 and have enough tanks to do it. We will be lucky if we are not hit by a Russian first strike or mass casualty attack via a proxy. Russian Spetsnas have been infiltrating the country for the past few months for sabotage and assassination operations (per JR Nyquist's sources). North Korea has received new missile targeting technology from Russia, per the suspicions of the Japanese, and are now more accurate than ever.
In no universe would Biden or NATO ever have the balls to launch nukes at Russia. Everything we are seeing is just politically correct posturing which the NPCs on this website are freaking out about.
What happens next will depend entirely on Russia.

How's that? Russia is demanding NATO's complete withdrawal from all NATO countries that joined the alliance after 1997. Russian media itself claims that "this isn't about Ukraine," but about the dissolution of NATO.
Russia is a gigantic country spread out over 11 timezones and has under its grips a large number of former Soviet States. Poland, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, etc., have no room to escape if they are not protected by NATO. Russia has invaded and raped Georgia, Chechnya based on false flag terror attacks on their own country (Alexander Litvinenko, who was poisoned with Polonium 210, stated that Al-Qaeda's number 2 member (who is now number 1) was trained in an FSB camp before being sent to join Al-Qaeda), and Ukraine already. In Chechnya they bombed civilians and gang raped male Chechens. (In fact, Russian soldiers gang rape each other on the regular and are some of the most disgusting and brutal of troops I have ever heard of). Russia has separatist enclaves in Moldavia. Russia arms and supports Communists across the world, including North Korea and FARC. Russia is doing military war games with the Chinese and Iran. Russia has been doing these war games since 1991, at least with the Chinese, all aimed at war gaming the defeat of the United States.
What exactly did Biden do to provoke Russia? Apparently, it is not immediately withdrawing from Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, etc., as Russia is absurdly demanding. None of these countries even have any weapons fielded that could threaten Russia. Russia, in fact, has threatened Poland in the past just for setting up anti-missile defenses--purely defensive weapons--to protect against Iranian ICBMs.
The West is like a woman in a burqa, and the wind has blown our hoodie off a little, and the Russian orcs and goblins are now foaming at the mouth hoping for a little bit of ultra violence and rape as a result.

I’m for engineering a peaceful, negotiated. quid pro quo transition to a set of borders more like Russia Ukraine a la 1953. MAYBE Putin keeps what he’s got in Crimea, but yields back north of the Sea of Azov. OBVIOUSLY that’s oversimplified, but...
“There must be some kinda way outta here...” and I don’t see the ossified interests in Washington exhibiting ANYTHING like the outside the box thinking necessary to facilitate an innovative, possible, acceptable solution that can be attained in peace.
