Yes, that’s a better reference.
Diocletian is what immediately came to mind. Good call!
“Article was for nothing.”
And yet, in violation of FR rules, you read it!
Show up but, tell every patient, “I am forced to be here, I do not care if you live or die.”
ThedaCare requested Thursday that an Outagamie County judge temporarily block seven of its employees who had applied for and accepted jobs at Ascension from beginning work there on Monday until the health system could find replacements for them.
I’ve been following this on another site. Surprised it wasn’t covered here.
Basically, one nurse at ThedaCare-Neenah applied for a job at Ascension and got it. She went back to ThedaCare-Neenah, put in her notice, and told her coworkers how much more money she would be making.
A bunch of her coworkers applied for jobs at Ascension and got hired also.
ThedaCare-Neenah has sought an injunction preventing the nurses from taking the new jobs until their old jobs are filled.
Here’s the kicker: there’s nothing in the injunction that says they have to stay and work their old jobs. Only that they can’t take a new job till they are backfilled by ThedaCare-Neenah.
Or they could show up and refuse to wear a mask.
You don't need to obey a unlaw order in the military.. And I'll wager it's the same in civilian life as well.
I would sue the living sh1te out of the judge while appealling the ruling.
Wisconsin is a right to work state. And given no clauses in their contract regarding this, even more so.
Even if those clauses were in their contract they get tossed out in court all the time because people have a right to earn a living.
“That’s not going to stand.”
What is not going to stand? Click-bait will be forever!
He labeled it Order 66.
Communists in every facet of the Nation are on a roll...
However, the sheeple just bear their chains with barely a murmur...
The injunction doesn’t say the have to show up for work at their old job. Only that they can’t start their new job.
It sounds more like ThedaCare-Neenah is trying to punish their employees for leaving.
Involuntary Servitude
Courts like the formal names for things
“I would sue the living sh1te out of the judge while appealling the ruling.”
By the time you file, the issue will have been resolved.
I wonder what the founding fathers would say about this nation in this day and age.

“Ok, then when I don’t show up for work at my old job fire me. I dare you to find me in contempt of court for it.”
When will FReepers learn to not get triggered by click-bait sites ...
