Arnold Schwarzenegger was involved in a car crash on Friday afternoon in Los Angeles that saw his enormous SUV slam into another car leaving the other driver badly hurt.
The former governor, 74, was driving a Yukon SUV about half a mile from his home in Brentwood, when it smashed into a red Prius at 5pm. The airbags deployed as a result of the collision.
The SUV then started to roll onto a white Porsche Cayenne that was directly behind Schwarzenegger's.
Law enforcement say they believe the accident was the fault of the actor who was attempting to make a left turn.
Police say Schwarzenegger was making a left turn while the traffic lights were still on red. He was not ticketed by police.
Images posted to social media show the offside driver's wheel of his SUV firmly on the hood of the Prius when everything came to a stop.
The female driver was hurt in the crash and was seen to be bleeding heavily. She was taken by ambulance to hospital.
One eyewitness told TMZ that it looked like a stunt from from a movie.

Arnold: "Oh, no. You want me to sign a traffic violation ticket?"
Cop: "Naw. It's for my daughter. She can't get enough of your movies, sir."
Ran a red light, causing an injury accident. No ticket. Still, I'm thinking the woman can look forward to a decent payday. Even in Caleefornia, she can now afford the gas to drive a nice safe Yukon, or maybe find a nice Hummer.

the yukon xl may be about the size of a suburban

Obviously there was some speed involved as there were airbag deployments.
