Snow continues to change over to rain along the coast. By late Monday, FOX Weather meteorologists forecast almost no snow on the ground for much of the Washington Metro area, Philadelphia Metro area, New Jersey, New York City, Long Island and the Boston Metro area.
Much of Upstate New York, northern Pennsylvania, Northern Ohio, Virginia, New Hampshire and Maine will see up to a foot of snow before the storm is over. Higher elevations, the Great Lakes and the Southern Tier of New York could see up to two feet of snow.

Yeah, remember that big pile-up on 81 Northbound about ten years ago? I drove through it the day after, and it was still a mess. Cars and trucks just pushed off into the snow bank on the shoulder, to get traffic moving again. 81 is a road warrior’s endurance test and always seems to be one snowflake away from a major closure.

O/T - Shitzburgh is done, KC is opening a can on them. Big Ben probably is done after this season.

Has not yet started here in NH but is getting close.
We’re due for the bulk of it starting about midnight.

No kidding.
I-81 is a nightmare from Syracuse all the way down.
North of Syracuse, there’s nothing but Watertown so traffic is not usually a problem, however that section of 81 goes through the Lake Ontario snow belt and across Tug Hill so gets slammed regularly.
Sometimes they even have to break out the tanks from Fort Drum to pull the snowplows out of drifts.
