Maybe Dish will pick them up.
OANN should go streaming only, just like Newsmax does. Hell, I’d subscribe just to piss off the left wing libtards!
Yeah, open a Rumble channel. Or create their own streaming network and sell adverts.
Wouldn’t Reuters and the Left wish.
i do not subscribe to any cable tv, and i do not use my phone for any tv services.
why when you have internet access on both phone and ‘puter?
OANN does has a streaming channel for just $4.99/month.
“.....a move that could financially cripple the rightwing TV network known for fueling conspiracy theories about the 2020 election.”
No bias there/S.
This is what the Tooth Fairy said and I always believe the Tooth Fairy.
Monetize Rumble or DJT’s platform and get all major conservative voices to push everyone to switch over in a MAJOR campaign.
Reliance on any “PC” 500 media corp will always end like this. They need to rely only on directly streaming their content over the net.
I tried to contact DirectTV through their website (with 24 hour customer service) and their chat bot asked me what I wanted and i asked why did they drop OAN channel. It said there were no customer service agents available and hung up. Hmmmm? 24 hour customer service?
“ OAN founder and chief executive Robert Herring Sr has testified that the inspiration to launch OAN in 2013 came from AT&T executives.
“They told us they wanted a conservative network,” Herring said during a 2019 deposition seen by Reuters. “They only had one, which was Fox News, and they had seven others on the other [leftwing] side. When they said that, I jumped to it and built one.”
Since then, AT&T has been a crucial source of funds flowing into OAN, providing tens of millions of dollars in revenue, court records show. Ninety percent of OAN’s revenue came from a contract with AT&T-owned television platforms, including satellite broadcaster DirecTV.”
Does Reuters refer to CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, etc. as “left-wing” TV networks?
I’m sure they do not.
Drop direct TV
What makes it particularly interesting is Rural America has DirectTV. You can’s stream out in the countryside. You can get internet but it’s really not suitable for streaming.
DirectTV and Dish are you only real options.
Does make some business sense since AT&T owns the CNN “news” networks as well as AT&T.
Time to break up AT&T. Again.
This could be a golden opportunity for OANN. The timing couldn’t be better.
Ellison was a big MAGA supporter. They should use Oracle’s cloud for hosting. Or get backing from Musk.
