Do YOU Think Elections Matter?

Did you see it?

Like a bolt of lightning, some major changes occurred. The tale of two cities lives!

It is the best of times, and worst of times.

This weekend Glenn Youngkin was sworn in as The Commonwealth of Virginia’s 74th Governor since 1922. And before I could write these words he’s already done much to make his state one of the freest in the Union.

Upon inauguration, he kept three campaign promises. He undid the mask mandates, he undid vaccine requirements, and he banned the teaching of racism in public schools—bringing to an end the teachers’ union’s unhealthy flirtation with Critical Racy Theory for Virginia school children.

And he wasn’t the only elected official to immediately make an impact.

Upon being sworn in the new Attorney General for the state announced investigations he was immediately opening into the state parole board and the Loudon County Public Schools. The aim is to immediately and transparently (in the parole board’s case) uncover the corrupt practices that have allowed murderers and rapists to walk free, earlier than their minimum sentences required, and without notification of their victims.

He also has pledged to get to the bottom of why the school system allowed a sexual assault to take place, and then for entirely political reasons covered it up. (I mean it’s just such a shock that letting biological boys into biological girls’ locker rooms and showers would ever go wrong… right?)

Bottom line. The new state-wide leadership in Virginia—within minutes of taking their oaths of office, are busy protecting the tax-payers, parents, children and innocent victims of violent and heinous crimes. They are not worried about what people who disagree with these simple and straightforward ideas have to say.

Please contrast these developments with the week that just ended for the administration that is 106 miles north of Richmond in Washington DC.

They are working against the people of the nation to “lawfully” create unlawful elections—trying to federalize methods that would allow for unending widespread fraud for every election in perpetuity.

When they realized they did not have the votes to accomplish that the cabal attempted to break the rules that restrain them and end the constitutionally protected filibuster.

Failing to succeed there—after having already lost on the only other single initiative they’ve put forward in 13 months (Build Back Broke)—they were slapped in the face with a reminder that the Supreme Court and Congress still play roles in the life of the nation losing 6-3 on abuse of executive powers and unlawful medical mandates.

You may have questions about how the country has slid into such destruction if the group has been so unsuccessful on the legislative front.

*resident Biden’s rapid abuse of executive power is the answer.

The contrast couldn’t be more clear. Not only must we elect people who will get to work on day one (in the mold of Youngkin, DeSantis, Trump.) But we must elect people who will stand as a bulwark against the corruption, criminality, and communist values of those running the far left.

We must recognize the chasm of the two options and choose to stop the greatest evil of the two. We absolutely will be required to engage, find, and work for the right kind of candidates who wish to serve. We have to hold them to some non-negotiables.

The right candidates will be required to work hard.

The right candidates must be willing to prove their character and love for America.

The right candidates will have to fight criminals and embrace the law.

The right candidates will seek and implement the moral good for the people they serve.

In other areas across America, that message continues to grow. The fires are stoked for change for this November.

With plummeting approvals, internal strife within the ranks, and utter incompetence from the office of the Vice President, to the Press Secretary, the opportunity is ripe.

SNL turned on Biden for the first time since the election this weekend. (Don’t expect that for long.) The admissions that they are in over their heads is written in the minds of the American people, our pop culture and certainly the intelligence memos of our enemies.

Now is the time patriots step forward. Now is the time we get to work. Now is the time expertise overcomes buffoonery.

Thankfully yesterday Virginia gave us a reminder of what we can work towards and expect.

Now it’s up to the other forty-nine to apply the heat to their elective futures as thoroughly as Virginians did in 2021.

So as Rip Wheeler would say, while setting his tin coffee cup down on the bunkhouse kitchen counter, “Let’s go to work!”

Sure, elections do matter. Just overcome the overwhelming vote fraud, first.

Yes.

Who actually counts the votes matters, too.

They matter when we elect the right people.

When we re-elect the same people who failed to repeal Obamacare when they had promised repeatedly that they would, it doesn’t make much difference.

Is the GOP doing anything to ensure honest elections?

I don’t think this is correct.

Where in the Constitution is the filibuster protected?

I’ve heard of something called Cyber Ninjas, and My Pillow, but as far as prominent Republicans, including those who fund raised on the issue, or the Grand Old Party itself, I’ve not seen or heard of anything concrete, no. I’d love to hear of more, or at least something though, for sure, so the floor is open if anyone else knows of anything. Thanks.

The RINOs revealed themselves in 2020. Calling them "Assistant Democrats" is far too kind. They are traitors. It should be our collective mission to vote out every RINO who must face a primary this year, especially in the state legislatures who gave the Steal to the Vegetable by refusing to enforce voter ID and turning a blind eye to the cheat-by-mail-in ballots and ballot box stuffing. So desperate were the RINOs in GA to get rid of Trump, they had to allow 2 Senate seats to be stolen, since any investigation into vote fraud in the Senate election would have exposed the fraud in the Trump's race.

Make them pay by sending them packing and replace them with Constitutional Patriots. If everyone with an (R) after their name fought for the grass roots voters, the GOP would be unstoppable. This is what Democrats and the RINO traitors fear most.

I have a more jaded view. I do not think they matter as the uniparty ensures they do not matter.

Do YOU Think Elections Matter?

Not since the election of 1960 when the Dems began their campaign toward dictatorship and the destruction of the USA, using every method possible to cheat/steal elections from local to Presidential.

As Stalin suggested: it does not matter how many people vote, it matters who counts the votes.

This truism manifested itself during the 2020 election scam.

As a side note to this thread, please consider the following.

Patriots, please bear in mind that the delegates to the Constitutional Convention had given ordinary voters the power to vote for representatives only, not senators or POTUS.

After all, military and trade issues aside, the main power that the states have expressly constitutinally given to feds to dictate an aspect of domestic policy is to run the U.S. Post Service, most other federal domestic policy based on stolen state powers.

The problem is that it is arguably the abuse (mob rule) of expanded voting power by constitutionally low-information voters that has been the main factor in the unconstitutional expansion of the unconstitutionally big federal government's powers.

In other words, figuratively speaking, the consequence of the abuse of voting power by misguided ordinary citizens is that voters have effectively shot their feet off regardless of their 2nd Amendment protections.

Insights welcome.

The ultimate remedy for unconstitutionally big, alleged election-stealing, Democratic Party-pirated federal and state governments allegedly manufacturing crises to oppress everybody under their boots...

Consider that the states effectively have "veto power" over continued unpopular, unconstitutional actions of the feds.

More specifically, the states can effectively “secede” from the unconstitutionally big federal government by doing the following.

Patriots need to primary federal and state elected officials who don't send voters email ASAP that clearly promises to do the following.

Federal and state lawmakers need to promise in their emails to introduce resolutions no later than 100 days after start of new legislative sessions that propose an amendment to the Constitution to the states, the amendment limited to repealing the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments (16&17A).

In fact, I challenge the states to ram the repeal amendment for 16&17A through the ratification process faster than Nancy Pelosi irresponsibly rammed unconstitutional Obamacare through the House. /semi-sarc

Again, insights welcome.
