On his first day, Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares has eliminated the Office of Civil Rights. Miyares also announced he will prosecute criminal cases in jurisdictions where Soros DAs decline to prosecute, and he has already opened investigations into Loudon County Public Schools.
Jason Miyares @JasonMiyaresVA As a candidate, I promised to investigate the scandals at the Virginia Parole Board and Loudoun County Schools.
As Attorney General, I am proud to say that the process has begun and the investigations are officially open.
Sweet leftist tears…
Louise Lucas @SenLouiseLucas I've been told incoming AG @JasonMiyaresVA just FIRED the entire civil rights division in the Attorney General's office. My bill helped create and expand the authority that this division uses. 8:48 PM · Jan 14, 2022

I’m reading more articles about the new Governor, his picks for Eduction, and his AG…and they truly deserve the quadruple WOW.
A little Steve Bannon smash mouth?
I love Virginia for the beauty and the history.
Most of the people there, I think, lean conservative, but Northern Virginia has been inundated with DC Swamp Ooze that has been stealing elections for decades now.
Pretty much the entire northeast, the cradle of our REPUBLIC, has gone to crap with just a few outliers. My kin folk are at about 2,300 rpm currently. Hudson River Valley NY. No chance I’ll ever visit again.
Probably not a bad idea. From the article you linked to: "She declined to provide the breakdown of which divisions the attorneys work in, saying it was multiple divisions across the office." So there is no way of knowing for sure - yet - whether all the firings were from the Civil Rights division. I imagine more information will be forthcoming.
Though it does make sense; you can't have civil rights violations if there's nobody around to investigate them.
False news circles the news while the truth gets it’s boots on.

Discourteous replies without doing reseach first do not advance the forum’s knowledge.
We will see if he prosecutes these people who looked the other way or actively worked to protect these criminals.
When I see some of these people on charges sitting in jail for failure to report these assaults then I will rest easier.
The left needs to learn, the law is the law, failure to enforce the law should be a criminal charge whenever it impacted another’s rights or property.
Stop impacting other people for your cheap exercise of politics via the tools of justice.
And DUers are melting down over it.
They are calling Youngkin a mini-Trump.
I sure hope so.
Yes! We need lots more like him.
Yep!!!
Wow! This is great, great, great!
I lived in a charming little town, Stephens City Va. I loved it. Harper’s Ferry holds a special place in my heart. Sheetz subs are the bomb. lol
That said, it just seemed so over regulated, over taxed in that area. Small “ranch homes” about 1100 sq ft were $150k +.
Ya couldn’t even go to a club without a membership or purchase a bottle of bourbon without the state being involved.
Sad folks up that area vote to be controlled by leftist.
Couldn’t wait to get back to Texas. In fact, when I crossed the state line, I saw the welcome center of Texas. Pulled over, got out of my car and knelt down and kissed Texas soil.
I was so damn glad to be home! The free state of Texas.
BREAKING
Miyares fires 30 in AG’s office
RICHMOND —Attorney Gen.-elect Jason Miyares notified about 30 staff members in the office – 17 of them attorneys - that they won't have jobs in his administration.
SNIP
Miyares spokeswoman Victoria LaCivita said the 30 staff members were told Friday that Miyares would be moving in a different direction.
“During the campaign, it was made clear that now Attorney General-elect Miyares and Attorney General Herring have very different visions for the office,” she said by email for this story. “We are restructuring the office, as every incoming AG has done in the past.”
And, there is nothing “discourteous” about pointing out that other reputable news sources from Virginia say different from what you are claiming.
I am looking around for places to move to.
I had ruled out Va.
Might have to add it back to my list of prospects.
“Miyares fires entire Civil Rights Division”
This COULD be interesting in that the wording of laws on “Civil Rights” are colorblind, but the Dems use the laws in one direction, to club whites (while the Republicans wink and accept that ‘reality’).
But, WHAT IF, his new hires actually look at Civil Rights from a colorblind perspective? Facebook (I think) had an artificial intelligence program running to identify postings that showed ‘hate’. They had to take it down because 90% of the hate was directed at whites. Put an entire narrative at risk.
No he didn’t fire the Civil Rights Division, he fired the Radical Leftist Extremist Division😀👏👏👏
Liberal heads are exploding, thank God!
YEAH!!
RATS!,
ABC and Yahoo vs the local paper? hmmm
