Trump really could be on his way back to the White House: Ex-President's amassed a $115million election 'war chest', has a new slogan, and 82 per cent of Republicans will back him if he decides to run again in 2024

he affluent suburb of Paradise Valley in Arizona is a traditional Republican stronghold.

With multi-million-dollar homes dotting a desert filled with towering saguaro cactus plants, its residents enjoy a choice of more than half a dozen golf courses, discreet upmarket shopping centres and award-winning restaurants, all nestled against the spectacular backdrop of Camelback Mountain.

Donald Trump stormed to victory here in 2016.

Paradise Valley is part of Maricopa County, an area of 2.1 million voters which includes the city of Phoenix and its outlying areas and which has voted Republican for as long as anyone can remember.

Yet in 2020, Maricopa County delivered a bombshell when voters turned in droves against President Trump in favour of Democratic rival Joe Biden.

'It was seismic,' says life-long Republican Benny White, who unsuccessfully ran for local office and found himself being chased down driveways by furious residents branding him a 'Trumper'.

'People just turned against Trump. He became a visceral figure of hate. I was chased away. People were screaming abuse at me.'

Losing Maricopa County – and, subsequently, Arizona itself – proved fatal for Trump, who continues to insist the election was 'stolen' from him, a claim which has been roundly refuted and which his critics have dubbed the 'Big Lie'.

Yet today in Paradise Valley (population: 14,362), things are feeling rather different. The November 2020 election seems a long time ago. And for the former President, that could be very good news.

Many Paradise Valley voters regret switching their support to Biden. And when The Mail on Sunday visited last week, they said they'd now rather vote for Trump, should he choose to run again.

Another dead giveaway that fraud was afoot in 2020: Trump carried Florida, which went “blue” in 2008 and 2012, but not Georgia, a state no ‘Rat has won since their native son Carter in ‘76? Any ‘Rat *genuinely* popular enough to carry Georgia would easily have won Florida and North Carolina too (which Hussein did in 2008).

I said that "if DeSantis makes a run and is serious about it", that would shake things up. Right now DeSantis has to win reelection first as the Governor of Florida. So once he gets through that, let's see what happens. Right now it is 2022 and the next presidential election is not for another two and half years. A poll at this point is meaningless.

We can agree to disagree. That will be all. Have a nice evening sir.

A poll at this point is meaningless.

That's what you hope. Trump has already proven he is a not a normal candidate. So you can pray, you can cry, you can beg, but the polls will be the same in 2024 as they are now. A person routinely getting 30-40k people to his rallies is not going to collapse so that your "True Conservative" flavor of the month can somehow rain ascendant. So keep to your made up numbers and "woulds" and "shoulds", if that gives you comfort, and we'll agree to disagree.

You must not like real Americans who are honest about what we think.
Trump is the mostly popular candidate to ever run for President .

Do you have any idea what a Conservative is?????

A Conservative is an INDIVIDUAL, whose personality is unique, his character is unique, his attempt at humor is unique, his devotion to right vs. wrong is unique.

THAT is what the Left HATES about conservatives/individuals.

AND THAT IS WHAT I AND MANY OTHERS RESPECT AND LOVE ABOUT THEM.

It has been said: LET TRUMP BE TRUMP.

If you don’t care for him, you are a democrat. Sorry.

I don’t have anyone in mind. I just want to win…and Trump is not going to win. He might win the primaries…but he is too old and polarizing to win any general.

What is it with old folks voting for other old fools.

I guess he would fit in at the DC skilled nursing facilities with the rest of the geriatrics.

It has been said: LET TRUMP BE TRUMP.

We'll lose in 2024 with that kind of mentality. I was being generous. I colored AZ, GA and NC red. But PHX, CLT, ATL are all growing rapidly in those swing states and they could easily turn blue.

This isn't 2016 anymore when Trump ran against Hillary who was a lousy candidate for the Democrats.

2024 is winnable. But we'll have to be smart. Youngkin is an example of that. He won in Virginia despite the state tilting blue the past decade and half. That's a local race in a non-presidential year but my point remains the same. Each election is different so we'll have to adapt.

Youngkin won in VA because he started talking like President Trump.

I’m not taking credit, but I contacted his office telling him NOT to distance himself from Trump’s principles many times.

Some things are constant. Like Principles. They don’t change the window dressing to gain support.

I respect your opinion, but I disagree.

Now, if only 3,000 people had shown up at tonight’s rally, you might have a point.

I thought that Jan. 6th destroyed him.

The only people that think Jan 6 amounted to anything were Dems who tried to use it for political purposes and a couple of cat ladies who continually clutched pearls watching CNN while wearing a half dozen masks. To anyone else it was nothing.

Except for the family, friends, and supporters of the murdered Ashli Babbitt. To us it was certainly something.
