While many voters have become skeptical toward the federal government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a majority of Democrats embrace restrictive policies, including punitive measures against those who haven’t gotten the COVID-19 vaccine.

You all can read through it. But on most of the categories, Democrats seem to be way out of sync with where Republicans and Independents are.
One example:
"Forty-five percent (45%) of Democrats would favor governments requiring citizens to temporarily live in designated facilities or locations if they refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine. Such a policy would be opposed by a strong majority (71%) of all voters, with 78% of Republicans and 64% of unaffiliated voters saying they would Strongly Oppose putting the unvaccinated in “designated facilities.”"
Is a sizeable minority of self identified Democrats that nuts?

Please remember this when our Christian or Jewish or other better qualities of compassion and caring take over for our faculties of discernment of the true nature of our political opponents.
No, they are not nice folks.
They want America overthrown for white racism, white privilege, toxic males and that nasty freedom granted by God and guaranteed under that dusty old Constitution.
The new workers’ Marxist global state in the Communist dominated world. That’s what they want.

Depends on what the definition of "nuts" is. I think it is a fair general proposition that a person's beliefs are not in line with reality - at least in some areas. Depending on the information environment one chooses to pay attention to, I think the Salem Witch Trials could have made perfect sense.
It can definitely happen here. Not vaccinated? You are a witch. Or the equivalent.
Insane people? Probably just a few. Most are just following the lead of other people that they happen to respect. Humans are by and large highly irrational beings.

I used to think democrats were just people who thought there were different ways to reach the same outcomes. Now, with this, I think they are totally vile people. The breach between us is too large. There are several western countries who believe the way they think. They really should go there.

Democratic voters are mostly lunatics anyways. No surprise there.
All that nonsense is going to happen in hell. Of course the Dems could always move to Australia and enjoy their concentration camps.

Is a sizeable minority of self identified Democrats that nuts? Let's look at the numbers.
The poll breakdown is:
- Rep: 33%
- Dem: 35%
- Ind: 32%
If 45% of the Democrats support interning the unvaxxed, that is only 15.75% respondents of the survey, or about one in six people.

The Twitterverse was blowing up with Democrats calling the Supreme Court ruling fascist and unvaxxed people Nazis. The projection is just out of control. I really don’t see how we can live in the same country with these people for too much longer.
