Kyrsten Sinema publicly and bluntly reaffirmed she would not support any change to the filibuster rules on Thursday, effectively killing her party’s hope of passing the most sweeping voting rights protections in a generation.
Sinema took to the Senate floor around noon on Thursday and said she would not support any changes to the filibuster, the Senate rule that requires 60 votes to advance legislation.
“While I continue to support these [voting rights] bills, I will not support separate actions that worsen the underlying disease of division infecting our country,” said Sinema, a first-term Democrat from Arizona.
“We must address the disease itself, the disease of division, to protect our democracy, and it cannot be achieved by one party alone. It cannot be achieved solely by the federal government. The response requires something greater and, yes, more difficult than what the Senate is discussing today.”…

Every time I see the lie in an article I want to correct it-——
It is not a “voting rights” bill by the power hungry Dems.
We have many voting rights laws now on the books which were passed and signed after marches by Dr.Martin Luther King and others in the 1960s.
This is a power grab bill to allow widespread cheating on voting and counting of votes. Without ID, anyone can pretend to be anyone and vote many times. There is no “right” to do that. It’s illegal.
She’s 95% wrong on everything but right on this and I appreciate what she is doing!!!

Historically yes. But Pelosi is definitely a lame duck that has arrows all over her from the squad and others. As far as chuck the schmuck, he's a little clown who is only there due to seniority, he's never accomplished anything in leadership. And, it's increasingly possible he's also a lame duck leader.

Sinema is a life time actress. Just look how she dresses for a fashion show. She supports the filibuster in order to allow the Democrats to shake down both supporters and Republicans for contributions. Even Republicans enrich themselves with monetary support to keep the filibuster. What a con game on both sides.
The Democrats can pander to its radical followers but in the end its only promises.
Since 2019 the banks have been insolvent but both parties are covering this up with the C-19 panic. Passing legislation for huge spending will not solve that.

Well you know what, Marty? I’m a “brown American” and I’ve been voting with no problem for almost 50 years right next to my fellow Americans of every color. This included every state I’ve ever lived in and overseas serving my country.
The only people buying what these people are selling are brainwashed minorities and women with white guilt.
