Which is hilarious based on the providers that are ordering vaccinated and Covid-positive workers - to work.

If they allow the mandate on health care workers to stand, they are about to see the complete collapse of the health care system in the entire country.

That is what they want so they can justify a full government takeover.

Naturally, none of the Supremes will require healthcare to be delivered by the peons of the nation’s healthcare system - they all have their fedgov provided personal doctors. The rest of us? Well, that’s just too bad that perhaps half of the US healthcare system will no collapse under the fascist mandate now forced upon its providers.

Either the mandate is unconstitutional or it is not. It can't be unconstitutional for some and constitutional for others.

Read through this thread and the SCOTUS rulings to see how wrong you are.

As some of us predicted, the Court made a very clear distinction between the power of the U.S. government as a regulatory authority and the power of the government as a customer/client of private businesses.

PostalWorkers would have been required under the OSHA mandate. The OSHA mandate was just struck down - so NO, Postal Workers will not be required to be vaccinated.

"Not really devastating.

example Mayo Clinic has 68000 workers.
700 declined vaxx mandate and left

a little over 1% of their workforce."

Yet. Not devastating...yet.

That was after the initial injection mandate.

Just wait until more people wake up to the fact that these injections don't do what they were originally sold to do && that people will be required to get a new injection every 4 to 6 months in order to stay "fully vaccinated", and therefore employed, per the fraud's ever moving goalposts.

Kavanaugh and Roberts, the gifts that keep on giving. What a waste of a few SC picks.

It’s devastating to all healthcare workers that will not take the vaccine. They can’t work in their field ever again.

When the definition of fully vaxxed changes 2-3 times a year depending on what booster is being peddled, those numbers may start to creep towards devastating..

On purpose..

While the rest of the country isn’t being jabbed as a condition of employment..

It was a schizophrenic ruling. They uses ‘purpose’ as a means test.

“Much as I disagree with the health care worker mandate, the Federal government is on much more solid ground there because it only involves health care workers and facilities where the Federal government is the contracting agent (not just a regulatory authority).”

So does that mean workers at Federal facilities like VA hospitals are affected by the mandate, but not private hospitals?

What about when the federal government is not the sole contracting agent? Federal funding may not be 100% in all cases as there may be other contracting or funding agents. That being the case what kind of funding threshold applies?

Not attacking your logic, just questioning the apparent logic of the Court in assuming that federal support is predominant or the only source in all cases.

I’m hoping an other case for fed healthcare workers may happen. Sometimes a bit of change in the suit can work. I have no clue of course. America First Legal may have something to say about this. Hmm, nothing yet. They are fighting against Bitem’s tyranny constantly, on many fronts. Have won a lot too.

I agree with Thomas and Alito, not Roberts and Kavanaugh.

“Hospitals n nursing homes will lose employees. Unless religious exemptions granted get to stand. People will die with lack of care.”

It’s already been happening. Long term care facilities are already short staffed. Hospitals are paying travel nursing companies massive hourly fees to fill in where nursing shortages exist.
