Democrat-allied Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) on Wednesday reportedly said she may subpoena House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA). This comes after McCarthy communicated he would not cooperate with the January 6 Committee.
“I wish that he were a brave and honorable man. He’s clearly trying to cover up what happened. He has an obligation to come forward, and we’ll get to the truth,” Cheney told CNN.

Per reporters I’ve seen on TV, the committee lacks actual subpoena power, as it has no official “ranking member.” Lizard Cheney is attempting to claim she is the ranking member, but the official ranking member is being barred from, or is refusing to, participate.
The first time the Bush/Cheney faction fights for anything, and it’s to keep themselves politically relevant by caving more to the left.
She just jumped the shark big time.
If the Bush - Cheney oligarch gang thinks they have this kind of power, they’re nuts. Subpoena her party leader in the House?

Cheney does not have that authority. Neither does that committee. Neither does the entire Congress, except in matters that affect legislation. They are not a court or a law enforcement agency. But, of course, doing unconstitutional things is nothing to communists/socialists and their useful idiots.
She's implying that McCarthy is sitting on some secret info. How low of an IQ does someone have to have to take her statements seriously?
