They have been teaching this in public schools for over 20 years. I know a lot of kids who believe this is a fait accomplit.
Sadly, I can’t disagree.
I never looked at America as an empire. Since when did we become one?
America is not “average”.
As a specific culture, we have been murdered.
America is not average. We will come back greater than ever.
We are not quite an empire yet.
We have had our Crassus, and are waiting for our Caesar
The US isn’t dead. It’s a zombie.
A country cannot remain strong and vibrant unless it has a core consensus of commonly held values to unite it. Sadly such a consensus does not exist in America at this time. The destruction of that once strong concensus has been the perennial goal of the Left. Without a consensus, what was once the grat American nation transforms into a pathetic, pliable cog for the vile globalists.
Great Britain?
I was about to get on my high horse and protest that ‘America’ (the United States, thanks) was not an empire, but I suppose the colonization of States on the grounds of peoples who had only tribes and geographically unfixed ‘nations’ of tribes as an empire, then I yield way on that point.
I believe the U.S. will survive for a long time. It will not be conquered or colonized in the traditional sense, but a good case can be made that it is being transformed with increasing acceleration, but with it’s chaotic immigration non-policies, and with the constant and increasing erosion of it’s very own constitutional framework.
“I never looked at America as an empire. Since when did we become one”?
Right on!!
The USA will never be united again.
Only if it remains a deep state corrupt empire. If we revert to a constitutional republic run by the people, we can survive.
The people I see flooding into my state by the tens of thousands can’t spell the word ‘constitution’, not even in their own language.
We are just about dead already.
Watch today, it looks to me like the USSC will legislate vaccine mandates from the bench.
I’m no Rush but I’m tempted to say, “Don’t doubt me on this.”
It’s already dead.
The politicians and their Crony Capitalist friends are merely committing necrophilia on the corpse now.
The Soviet Union was an empire. The United States is not. Don’t they teach why anymore?
Our republic wasn’t established as an empire until 1865 - so I figure we have until about 2115.
Now if we could only punish those — both living and dead — who assisted in her suicide we might yet revive the wonderous old gal.
Most Americans dont want to be in an empire. We never did. The ruling class are the MFers who did brought it on.
