CNN anchor Jake Tapper said Wednesday on his show “The Lead” that members of Congress forwarding a “fringe conspiracy theory” about a man named Ray Epps, were not members of the high IQ society, Mensa International.
Tapper said, “This is a fringe conspiracy theory, but I have to ask you because it’s showing up at congressional hearings raised by House and Senate Republicans. An Arizona man, Ray Epps, has become a target of what appears to be a completely baseless right-wing conspiracy theory that he was an undercover FBI agent or informant or operative at the Capitol on January 6 last year. That he was planted by the government, this is the conspiracy theory. Planted by the government to encourage the insurrection. From his public profile and from reports about Epps, it appears he’s a Trump supporter and a former member of the Arizona branch of the far right-wing group the Oath Keepers. Has the January 6th Committee looked into this accusation at all to see if there’s any truth to it?”

That’s hilarious coming from Tapper.
The are not the pedophile group either.
Says regime approved reporter.
The guy who hangs out with pedophiles judging others.. typical cnn
“Dartmouth College, … from which he graduated with a B.A. in History, modified by Visual Studies, in 1991”
He has a BA in history
He’s a member of Mensa?
It’s good that Jim Rob has that no profanity thing here.
Shut up and read the news. No one cares about your moronic opinion.
It’s only a conspiracy because they won’t come clean. It’s a simple question to answer: Did he work at the behest of any federal agency or political group? Yes or no. They won’t answer it. But they cannot explain why the man who clearly incited a riot and was on - then mysteriously and for no known reason taken off - the FBI’s most wanted list is walking around free and presumably hasn’t been called in for questioning.
You don’t have to be a member of mensa to see that this is totally outside the norm considering the rhetoric and the 100s of other prosecutions.
Well, that's at least true with me; I'm Intertel.
From the guy who drank for years from the Russian collusion well.
When the truth comes out and this is all confirmed, Tapper will say, “Of course. Everyone knew that. It’s not news.”
Tapper was Chelsea’s MIL’s press secretary and said life-long family friend.
His wife’s favorite pizza place is Ping Pong Pizza.
Any wonder why he has pedophile producers?
Is it possible that all of us morons are right that the same kind of people that made up a story about our candidate paying prostitutes in Russia to urinate on him among other lies alleging his risking our nation’s security to secure a warrant to spy on his campaign think they would pull some other stunt like this?
A good reporter, no any reporter, would pursue what you bring up.
Who is this guy? Is he one of us? Don’t think so and it would be easy to find out.
The fact that Tapper is trying to squelch this, makes you wonder how deep this ass hat is in with the FBI and other Anti Trumpers.
Is it exactly a Mensa group that believes there were FBI informants involved in the Whitmer kidnapping caper?
Like that scene from Star Wars: “These aren’t the instigators you are looking for.” Tapper is no Obi Wan and that doesn’t work in the real world.
Whatever this tapper dip stick is talking about..
I’m a Mensan.
It’s fun to watch these people. They all know the feds were there. They all know the election had massive vote fraud. They know all these things. Anyone with any connections does. But they lie anyway. They know that we know they are lying and yet they still lie.
It’s called deep capture. That’s another conspiracy theory but one that I happen to believe in.
It started with an economic concept called regulatory capture. To put it simply, the regulators ultimately end up getting cozy with the people they regulate. It’s sort of human nature. They work together and get to know each other. They sometimes change jobs - the regulated becomes a regulator and vice versa. You see this all the time with FDA people going to work at biotech, and then back. Or with banking - always the people hired at the fed or treasury come from big banks. Same pretty much for any industry. So the interests of the regulators and the regulated end up in close alignment.
Take that one step further and it’s deep capture. The entire system is captured by the interests of individuals who are beholden to large multinational enterprises. So politics, bureaucracies, media, industry, finance, government contractors - it’s all them against everyone else.
