Although President Joe Biden’s policies on ending the coronavirus pandemic and fixing supply chain problems are failing, the media are blaming American workers for empty shelves in grocery stores.
“Empty shelves have returned at supermarkets as grocery employees call out sick and truckloads of food arrive late,” CNBC said in a report that said nothing about Biden’s policies or Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s responsibilities.

Depends on where you live. It has zero to do with vaccines or sick drivers. It is weather related. Road closures and avalanches on passes.
Why is everyone sick if everyone is vaxxed? Oh, that’s right, it doesn’t really work.

My father just recovered from covid, my neighbor has covid, a friend canceled lunch last weekend because she has covid, another friend I volunteer with has covid.... I live in NC.
My husband is currently in Ga and his mother is in an assisted living that started a quarantine yesterday as several of the residents have covid.

Workers are so scarce for retail that even when sick management wants them to come in. Without being tested!
Werner hired me as a rookie. I rode with a great trainer for a few months. Their pay was on par with the rest of the big guys but their benefits were good and they offered a cancer coverage for an extra 10 bucks a month that really saved my butt. Ive had the best care from Penn Med in Philly with little out of pocket.
I can remember being told to come to work with a 102F fever, or else face disciplinary action. That was 2016. For Koch companies, getting sick and staying home is viewed as a burden to the rest of the company, and not acceptable unless you are not able to move. In which case you had better be admitted.

Sickness maybe...but that’s because of the stupidity of the covid rules and the fact that for all intents and purposes employees now have unlimited sick days.
