"Then when you have the right people in place, then you go after him."

Who would be the "right" people? He's already been cleared via a DOJ investigation. The guy will never be held accountable, because he's black. And just think of the unending media coverage that would occur if any Republican President sicced his DOJ on him. And most Congressional Republicans are gutless wonders who wouldn't have the balls to pursue it in the House or Senate. The case is dead like Ashli Babbit, and no one is going to seek justice for her and her family, ever.

They all know, damn well that Republicans and trump supporters are nowhere near as violent and vicious as antifa and blm.

I wonder how Byrd picked out Ashli Babbitt, a genuine Trump supporter, among a crowd of antifa. Looking at the video, they did a good job of dressing up like Trump supporters. I couldn't tell the difference.

She was allegedly trying to drive through the barrier into the WH on 3 October, 2013, then occupied by No. 44, and was shot 26 times. Her 13-month-old daughter was in a car seat in the vehicle. A very unlikely story, I should think. So where was BLM that time?

" If POTUS was behind that door with his SS protective team would you have expected them not to shoot the first person through the breach with a angry mob on the other side of the door?"

None of this would have happened if the Capitol Hill officers who were standing in front of that set of doors, had stopped the individuals who were breaking the windows. The four of them stood there, and let the perps get away with it. Obviously, they were told to not engage, or restrain the individuals doing the damage. On film, they are shown, allowing two individuals, one with a pole, and one with a helmet, to step up to them, reach over them, and smash the windows behind them. That's not normal behavior from trained cops. That's behavior from cops who are told to "stand down" and not do anything. So why were they there in front of that door, if they weren't going to do anything? As soon as those cops left the area, Ashli Babbit is seen climbing up the window, and then shot. And how convenient, that another group of cops, this time, ones in full armor, were coming up the stairs just in time to carry her away.

If members of Congress were shuffled off into that wing behind those doors for protection, there should have been a massive number of armored officers protecting the doors and the landing, not four officers in regular uniforms standing there, letting individuals violently break windows. That wasn't proper security protection. Having worked in uniform for 25 years, and having dealt with crowd control, restraining individuals, weapons training, use of force, and chemical agents, what I saw happen on that video, was bizarre and not normal behavior or action on the part of sworn police officers. I find it very strange that they huddled a bunch of elected officials behind a set of doors that could be easily breached, without providing a proper security detail to prevent anyone from entering or doing damage to those doors. That should have been the first area that a protective force should have been placed, both behind the doors, and in front. Why it wasn't done is beyond me.

You’re a phony. Your nonstop and excessively wordy justifications for the murder of a good US citizen are just hot air.

The fundamental principle that our country was founded on hold that all of us are created equal - so your “protected people” for whom cops can shoot without warning don’t exist, at least shouldn’t. Nobody is better to the point that other people - particularly unarmed people - should be murdered out of hand by some mindless killer for their “protection”.

Like I said earlier, people like you would fit right in with Hitler’s people.

Key word is “unarmed”. Some of the rioters did in fact have guns as the arrest records show. Now Ashli Babbitt did not have a gun. She did, however, have a backpack, the contents of which were unknown to the officer. The Boston Marathon bomber also had a backpack. So you have an individual with a backpack, who repeatedly refuses to obey instructions to back off and is entering a restricted space with government officials being evacuated to safety. If I were in Byrd’s shoes, I would likely have made the same call.

I am not sure when we, the party of individual responsibility and law and order, decided there should be no consequences for repeatedly disobeying an officer’s lawful orders in a high-pressure situation, let alone make a martyr out of said individual, no different than the lawless leftists who lionize the latest black criminal shot by police.

Many Freepers have assured me that most of the January 6 rioters were antifa, but also claim that those arrested, all 700+ of them, are “political prisoners” deserving of our aid and sympathy. I don’t see how both of those statements can be true. I will never lift a finger to help antifa.

If the House Committee to investigate the January 6th was real, they would have called this man up since he was the only one who killed anybody during the entire thing. He shot and killed an unarmed woman, Ashli Babbitt who was no threat to him or anybody. She died that day on that site and this Committee has turned its head on the murder. Therefore, I give no creedence to this Committee until such a time as they address this murder.

Thank you for your service and your perspective. What you said makes a lot more sense than what the pro-rioters on here say.

Lon Horiuchiand Weaver’s wife, the Beanch Davidians, LaVoy Finicum,....it’s a long and growing list of those murdered by Federal shooters who have zero accountability . Add to this list woman killer Byrd and poor Ashli Babbit.
If the fed had been white and the gal a black women there would have been hell to pay. But Ashli was white and the shooter was black , so no matter...White Lives Matter and Babbit’s killing was a hate crime .

Did any of you pro-shoot the harmless lady idiots watch any of the associated videos? It would seem not. You are making up scenarios which have almost nothing to do with reality and everything to do with your fertile imaginations. So you would shoot indiscriminately into a group that was not actually putting you or any of the people you are supposed to be protecting at risk? Fortunately, most of the people that I know with this type of mindset who wanted to become police officers were rejected on psychological grounds.

I can also guarantee that the vast majority, if not all of the political prisoners still held behind bars illegally without trials are Trump supporters. People who were willing to go along with the anti-Trump narrative were either let go or never arrested to begin with.

There were at lease two areas where the crowd entered the building. And they were entirely different situations. Where Ashli Babbitt entered, there was nothing peaceful about it.

Isn’t that sweet now you’re quoting from the slimes to justify shooting a harmless woman.

Surprising how many come here to condone the shooting of an unarmed woman.

There is no need to quote anything, so I didn’t. It is the clearest video I have saved; it speaks for itself.

exactly- and it was odd that the cops just stood there (the ones on the other side of the wall from the shooter), after the shot, and didn’t even really seem phased by it-
