Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said the House Democrats are in “good shape” heading into the midterms and predicted the Democrats would remain in the House majority, despite the 26 congressmen who have announced plans to leave after the current term.
Despite the 26 Democrats who have announced their plans to exit the House of Representatives after the current term, Pelosi, who has also been rumored to be retiring, told Punchbowl News that she does not believe the 26 are a big deal and her caucus will remain in the majority past the midterm elections later this year.

She will go down in history as one of the most despised and hated people ever. Benedict Arnold and Aaron Burr will look good by comparison. And her incredibly expensive wardrobe will be sold off at Goodwill and Salvation Army, where at last it will do some good.
Well yeah - she plans on kicking out about 60 uppity Republicans as traitors in both the House and Senate solving both her and McConnells headaches.

If the John Lewis Red State Voter Suppression Act is passed they’ll pick-up 100 House seats and 30 Senate seats.
She said the exact same thing before the Virginia loss. She said the exact same thing in 2016 before Trump won. She said the exact same thing about the Senate in 2018.
It’s what politicians say when asked that question.
