Despite a 80% fully jabbed rate, and IIRC, state mask mandate, they go back to March 2020 policies.

They used a lot of words to say everything we sad the jab was supposed to do, failed.

Our case rates are at their highest level since the pandemic began and our hospitalizations are climbing at an alarming rate as well,” health officer Dr. Sundari Mase said in a statement. “We are seeing widespread transmission occurring within unvaccinated groups as well as some transmission among vaccinated individuals.”

80% vaccinated and cases are at their highest? Hmmm.....

And they do it without missing a beat. Never an admission of error, never any room for self doubt. They push forward with their ways as if they are all knowing.

If anyone gives me a “voluntary stay at home” order, you can bet I’ll find every excuse possible to ignore it.

I’m on day 5 of omicron. Was already on a regimen Vits C, D, and Zinc. When symptoms hit I added Quercetin on day 2 and IVM a day after that (yes, the dreaded scary paste). I went from having a REALLY miserable flu pre-IVM to just having a bad sore throat and sporadic cough within 12 hours of taking it. Nobody’s going to convince me IVM doesn’t work on CV, or that it’s dangerous in the right dose for my weight. It does, however, taste nothing like apples.

And now I’m jonesing for some hay and oats.

If they had 100% compliance, this wouldn’t have been necessary

Sonoma County. There are no wine festivals going on right now so it’s OK to lock down for a while.

Omicron is by far the least dangerous variant of COVID-19 Wuhan virus that has appeared, even if highly contagious.

But having the omicron variant would appear to have much the same effect on other variants of COVID-19 virus, as the incidence of cowpox had upon the very deadly and dreaded smallpox epidemics.

Nature has provided an attenuated-virus version of COVID-19 virus that may yet prove to be the necessary means of bringing COVID-19 under manageable scope. And just possibly, point to a means of ending for all time the “common cold”.

Do not fear the omicron variant, embrace it, and recognize the inferred immunity it provides.

Get the omicron variant, no need, ever, for the mRNA injection, which does not seem to be particularly effective, but has a number of its own drawbacks in terms of side effects among otherwise healthy persons. A tool in the arsenal of strategies and therapies that was badly misused.

In Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, we went to three Christmas events — a big charity celebrity chef cooking competition supporting a local assistance organization; a Christmas spectacular; and an eagle cruise on the lake. Idaho has one of the lowest vax rates in the country (I think about 45%).

Neither my wife, our friends, our daughter, her fiancé, me or anybody else got sick. Maybe 2% of the people attending the events (at most) were masked up (certainly not us).

Life in Idaho feels completely normal and sane. There’s no fear, gloom or doom there.

My husband is convinced jabbed people are going to drop dead any day now. I hope he’s wrong, but I wouldn’t be shocked either.

Schools, places of worship and venues "open to the public as part of regular operations such as shopping malls, stores, restaurants/food facilities and museums" are exempted

At least they have PARTIAL respect for SOME of the First Amendment. /s
