The coronavirus is a hard habit for the media to break — and that’s pushing other dangers off-stage and out of sight.

As the country marked one year since the attack on the Capitol, most mainstream news outlets last week still made their central focus COVID-19 and the Omicron variant. Every twist and turn in the pandemic continues to gobble up resources and dominate headlines at the expense of stories that are just as urgent.

There's another undercurrent going on here, as well. The Leftist Democrats and their media seem more than a little upset that people overall pretty much just said a collective "so what?" about January 6.

It wasn't that COVID overshadowed it. Even after the media's breathless, endless, coverage of the anniversary of the hellish, terrible "attack," it was just a nothingburger. They really hate it when the country doesn't get excited about something they want the country to get excited about.

Absolutely JC. They’re quadrupling down on J6, as if that’s somehow going to change the public’s perception of it. And they’re doing it because that’s all they have. They certainly can’t focus on education, foreign policy, national security, or the economy, all of which are now disasters. And climate change fear porn doesn’t work anymore. So J6 it is.

We can be happy that most people don’t watch the fear porn. While they are not given the truth about what is going on the world by watching alternative media, they do have their own set of eyes to see what is going on in their lives. Once they have a bunch of vaccinated friends and family get COVID, they know it is all bullshit and just want to go on with their lives. I hope the media keeps pushing this crap. It will only make the media and Democrats look bad - some RINOs too.
