The Biden administration has finalized a contract with a test manufacturer to begin to provide Americans with 500 million free COVID-19 tests, Fox News has confirmed.
The Department of Defense, in coordination with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, awarded the $51.6 million contract to Goldbelt Security, LLC, located in Newport News, Virginia, for delivery of over-the-counter COVID-19 test kits.
According to the Defense Department, the procurement was funded through the American Rescue Plan Act, which supplies medical resources to different parts of the nation.

I'm in the military and since I'm vaxxed but not boosted, I'm not considered fully vaccinated so in order to return to work, I have to test negative or quarantine for five days. I went out to find an at-home test but every store near me is wiped out. Turns out people have been hoarding them.
My wife and I also have minor colds so we've probably got the latest Snifflecron variant as well.
So, unable to find an at-home test, tomorrow I'm going to have to wait in one of those fun five hour lines at the local military hospital and then likely miss the entire week of work waiting for my results to come back.
It's a real Charlie Foxtrot.
Order some up and toss them in your ‘wheelee bin’. Oddly, some folks may somehow become infected by using the kit. No?
With a complimentary false-positive built right in!
Why test if the Gov’t is against early treatment?
Pure fear p0rn.
There is really a cultural divide in this country. I don’t even feel the need to be tested. It’s an irrelevance to me.
Just when the virus is becoming barely a shadow of its former self. Insanity. My local geocer just went back to masking all employees (all of them vaxxed). Just madness.
“Why test if the Gov’t is against early treatment?
Because there is no early treatment. You can’t treat any of the virus or variants out there. The vaccines can only try to assist the immune system to make you feel better while you have it. They don’t treat, they minimize the effects but you still can get it and spread it. And getting over it has been proven to be impossible as any assistance of the vaccines doesn’t last more than a few months so around comes booster 2 and in time 3, 4... that so far hasn’t had any effect on the permanent removal of the virus or it’s variants. This is truly the gift that just keeps on giving from China.
And as they are the largest seller of bio warfare products in the world, they knew exactly what they were doing. Asian thinking is very one sided. Accomplish the goal no matter what or who it hurts or in many cases whether it works or not. Kind of like kamikaze.
The failure in this case is not near as much theirs as it is the mishandling of the response by those that get hurt. Don’t shut down their trade, allow them to purchase strategic spots in our country that controls the supply line and finance them with trade with everything all the way to the film industry. As was said in a movie by a rabbit about to be punished, “Throw me into the briar patch.”

Exactly.
And, no telling what else.
I wonder where the 500 million test kits are coming from...
The ChiComs?
Good point.
And how are these supposed to get to people if the post offices have to let unvaxxed employees go?
While Putin just raised a massive army! He is laughing with glee over our military decline and America’s demise!
