Cheney told CNN's Jake Tapper: 'The president of the United States is responsible for ensuring the laws are faithfully executed; he's responsible for the security of the branches.

Is she referring to the current president? Whats her opinion of the lack of enforcement of immigration laws?

Reps. Liz Cheney and Bennie Thompson refuse to rule out that the January 6 Committee will conclude Donald Trump committed a crime

These clowns must want a REAL insurrection!

Bennie Thompson is a radical rabid racist that wishes whites dead or in concentration camps after their wealth is confiscated. He is the result of massive gerrymandering and a cult of professional victimization. If one were to just spend a few days listening to this mutant racist they would have to come to this conclusion.

Did Ray Epps commit a crime? He’s on tape appearing to do that very thing, but has not been charged. Why, Lizzy?

The House already drummed up a second impeachment after January 6th and it went nowhere because it was a nothingburger. This time they’ll try to poop out an even dumber recommendation to the DOJ, who will gleefully try to prosecute it on the thinnest of evidence, if only to drag Trump through the process, search though his personal files to look for any other crimes they can possibly drum up and bleed his finances. And they’ll do it with a smile on their face to send a message to the rest of us.

Dick says his daughter is doing a hell of a job and he is deeply dissapointed in the GOP leadership except for his daughter. I wonder if Dick has listened to any of the Mark Levin shows on his moron daughter. Perhaps he’d like to call in to discuss.

Funny, since not even one of the so-called January 6 “insurrectionists” were charged with sedition or insurrection - both being felonies.

Unfortunately for our side, the GOP is heavily infected with the clueless, the cowardly, and your typical ass-kissing opportunist - which is why Republicans generally lose, even when in the majority.

The United States Capitol Police (USCP) is a federal law enforcement agency in the United States charged with protecting the United States Congress within the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its territories. It answers to the Capitol Police Board and is the only full-service federal law enforcement agency appointed by the legislative branch of the federal government of the United States.

Capitol Police Board

•Karen H. Gibson, United States Senate Sergeant at Arms (Member)

William J. Walker, U.S. House of Representatives Sergeant at Arms (Chair)

J. Brett Blanton, Architect of the Capitol (Member)

J. Thomas Manger, Chief of Police (Ex-Officio Member)

The United States Capitol Police has the primary responsibility for protecting life and property, preventing, detecting, and investigating criminal acts, and enforcing traffic regulations throughout a complex of congressional buildings, parks, and thoroughfares. The Capitol Police has primary jurisdiction within buildings and grounds of the United States Capitol Complex. It also has concurrent jurisdiction with other law enforcement agencies, including the United States Park Police and the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia, in an area of approximately 200 blocks around the complex. Officers also have jurisdiction throughout the District of Columbia to take enforcement action when they observe or are made aware of crimes of violence while on official duties.

Additionally, they are charged with the protection of members of Congress, officers of Congress, and their families throughout the entire United States, its territories and possessions, and the District of Columbia. While performing protective functions, the Capitol Police have jurisdiction throughout the entire United States.

Thompson and Cheney are flat liars. The president has nothing to do with the legal control of DC and hasn’t since May 2, 1828 when Congress passed an Act that expanded the police regulations of the City of Washington to include the Capitol and Capitol Square. It is on this date that the USCP commemorates its founding.
