Security footage of Georgia poll workers lugging boxes of ballots out from under a table and scanning them after political party poll watchers had gone home for the night sparked controversy last week when the Trump campaign cited it as evidence of voter fraud, but upon further review the ballots appear to have remained in the proper chain of custody over the course of Election Day.
The Trump campaign showed a portion of the election night surveillance video from Atlanta’s State Farm Arena during a Georgia State Senate hearing on Thursday, claiming the footage shows poll workers shooing election observers out of the arena before proceeding to scan boxes of mysterious and possibly illegal ballots.

This is total BS misinformation trying to get ahead of what has been revealed as fraud on a titanic scale.
This assertion provide ZERO assurance that the “custodians” were trustworthy or innocent of tampering.
I do not recall any Republican objections. That bothers me greatly.

Who is posting this demoralizing crap?
Some “Republicans” in GA are part of the problem.
Seriously? So the article is saying it was alright for them to illegally count ballots (and rescan them multiple times) because they came into the building in boxes that were signed for by people in on the scam. I am so tired of this kind of cynical disinformation. It insults the intelligence of even the Democrats.
Am I allowed to say, “Bullshit!”
If the votes were counted WITHOUT Republicans present, then the law was broken.
And that was the case there. The problem was that the Republicans wanted Trump gone as much as the Democrats.
The entire process should be on live video.
This is what ignorant people use to claim the video has been debunked. Even some people on our side are stupid enough to believe it. I have had people here on FR tell me that it was debunked.
Ruby was supposed to have a deposition and bring all her electronic but it got postponed while someone(inspector general?) was allegedly investigating something. That was well over a year ago.
I think you linked to the wrong article. I think this is the article you intended to link to:
I wrote about this extensively back in Nov/Dec of 2020. Giuliani and his associates — Tracy Picks, in particular — intentionally presented only snippets of the security video in order to mislead people. They had the entire security cam video and knew precisely where those ballots came from and when they were placed under the table, but they avoided any parts of the video that showed this so they could keep of this charade of mysterious “suitcases” of ballots of unknown origin being pulled out from under a table. As I said back then, people with the truth on their side do not need to engage in this sort of duplicity.
This was discussed and dissected ad nauseum on FR.
There was video of the entire day from the time the first workers showed up in the morning, up to when the last ballot was counted in the early morning hours of the next day.
There is video of the workers closing up counting and putting the boxes under the table. All of the poll watchers and the media were also told that counting was over for the night, and would resume in the morning, so they all left.
Then the GA SoS called the precinct and told them to continue to count, so (and this is the only video widely circulated) the same workers pulled out the boxes from under the table that they had placed there 30 minutes earlier.
The fraud was not secret boxes of ballots at the poll place. The fraud was not hacked voting machines. The fraud was tens of thousands of ballots with no proper signature verification that were accepted as genuine without any chance for poll watchers to observe the verification process or challenge any signatures before the ballots were separated from their security envelopes and dumped into the system.
Once the ballots were separated from the envelopes, there was no way to subsequently identify or nullify those ballots.
Exactly. “Chain of custody” isn’t the issue. The counting of fraudulent ballots is the issue.
No, I don't think that's right.
Both parties had the right to be present but if they left on their own counting didn't have to stop.
The question here is were they sent away fraudulently or did they just assume nothing was happening so left on their own.
SO, it’s proper to run the same batch of ballots through the scanner several times? No telling how many batches were processed this way, either!
