North Korea fired what is believed to be a missile into the waters of the Pacific Ocean on Wednesday morning, according to the Japanese government.
In response, Fort Greely, Alaska personnel were ordered to find shelter immediately during what was still Tuesday afternoon in Alaska.
It’s unknown what kind of projectile it was, but the Japanese Defense Ministry said it was probably a missile. Other MRAK sources said it was a hypersonic missile launched from a submarine.
The last missile Pyongyang launched was in October. In 2017, an intercontinental ballistic missile was launched in North Korea that had a range of 8,100 miles, and could have reached the U.S. mainland in less than 30 minutes. Anchorage and Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson are the closest major population centers to North Korea.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has recently said he would step up missile testing, and it’s believed he is trying to have North Korea become accepted as a nuclear power. Diplomatic relations with the United States have been strained.

It used to be, there would be news announcements under previous Presidents that North Korea was about to launch. Was there a warning this time?
I can’t believe this guy has been in office not even a full year yet, not till the 20th . It feels like 4 years already from all the massive F ups. Yet we still have to go thru another entire year....think about that... anooooother year, and after that ANOOOTHER year and then after that..... ANOOOOOTHER year AND since absolutely NOTHING is being done about election integrity we quite possibly could have FOUR MORE YEARS AFTER THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are not going to survive it especially if they steal the midterms.
Several are in the container shi p s parked outside LA harbor. /s
Gif reminds me of a toy I had eons ago. It was from Mattel or Marx, or maybe Remco. It was a WAC Corporal rocket with a second stage. You hooked it up to a garden hose on full. You waited a minute or two and then yanked a six foot lanyard which released the stop plug from the rocket. Off it went. First stage about 100 feet and the second stage double that. It was great.
Someone needs to hide those knives before you play that entire discography.

Tucker said it looks like he’s got a welding helmet on. LOL
If N.Korea ever tested a sub launched missile within 100 miles of a U.S. coast, all (they can’t have many) subs of the same class in their ‘navy’ should summarily be permanently bottomed

To the best of my knowledge no Nork sub has made it past Japan let alone crossing the Pacific to the doorstep of the USA.
