Two major Biden administration vaccine mandates that have been temporarily suspended in court will go before the U.S. Supreme Court in oral arguments Friday.
Biden announced in September his imposition of rules requiring private companies with 100 or more workers to be vaccinated for COVID-19 or regularly tested. And he mandated that all health care workers at facilities receiving Medicaid and Medicare funding receive the jabs.
The big issue is whether or not the federal government has the authority to force employers to require that their workers be vaccinated.
"Joe Biden has no authority to issue unlawful shot mandates that are unconstitutional, abusive and inhumane against the people of the United States," said Liberty Counsel founder and chairman Mat Staver. "The Supreme Court must stop them once and for all."
The Biden administration is asking the high court to overrule lower courts that halted the private-employee policy in 25 states.
Biden's private employer mandate was issued Nov. 5 by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The rule punishes companies that don't comply fines of up to $13,600 per violation. And additional $13,600 fines could be assessed for each day that an employer does not stop the violation. OSHA also could fine businesses up to $136,000 for willful or serious violations.
A legal group that has been at the forefront of helping employees navigate both company and government vaccine mandates believes the answer clearly is no.

When were these temporarily suspended? I thought they were just reinstated by an appeals court.

Just helpin' out a bit.
What about military personnel who have been let go? what about firemen, police officers, etc? This decision could force the liberal states and gov’t to reinstate all those who lost their jobs. I believe the Supremes also need to put in a rider that says if employees lost their jobs for NOT taking the vaccinne and are reinstated, they should receive ALL BACK PAY for time missed due to this insane mandate!!! Plus, additionally $5,000 per person for stress and personal distress having lost their jobs THROUGH NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN!~
I think there are two key arguments:
1. Regulatory over-reach. OSHA does not have the authority or ability to regulate the practice of medicine.
2. Even if so, the rule is unreasonable - a test for all rule-making. The vaccine is demonstrably neither safe nor effective.

The Executive Branch has failed to protect the constitution.
The Legislative Branch has failed to protect the constitution.
The Judicial Branch has failed us in the past and will most likely fail us (legal citizens) again.
Are we being taxed without representation?
Are our elected officials legally elected?
“Could end” bein the key phrase... nothing is guaranteed these days especially common sense and anything constitutional.

You just had to rub it in that the Roberts Court is full of wishy washy, cowardly, undependable types whose integrity and determination to defend the US Constitution sways in the breeze like willow tree branches.
Or, they could not.
I have zero faith that this SCOTUS will do the right thing.
My job has made it their company policy regardless of govt mandate or not. Today is my last day before I’m fired. Even though I work remote out of state.

Constitution that one word is what the democrats fear and hate most it’s why the are pushing so hard to rewrite it it interferes with their agenda.

look at the hard evidence - the worst has passed, hospitalizations & deaths are way down from the peaks, most people now have immunity
so there’s no need for the vax mandate, and it’s not about health anymore, it’s about CONTROL

Either WRONG, or old information. The Sixth Circuit 3-judge panel said in effect, "THIS IS THE NEW NORMAL. TAKE THE JAB!" and allowed businesses to start implementing the mandate.
Yes, the Sixth Circuit 3-judge panel re-instated the mandate for companies of 100 employees or more.
They already have. But the problem is that the "rule" still must be reasonable. Reasonable means that there must be a rational basis for the decision. The problem is that the rule is irrational because so many groups are excluded for obviously political reason and no effort was made to state a valid reason for the exclusion. The exclusions invalidate both the claim of emergency and the entire basis that "everyone" must be vaccinated to stop the pandemic in its tracks.
Oh, and by the way the vaccines are not safe and they don't work.
