Wilmington, Delaware — President Joe Biden reiterated his statements that the U.S. and allies will act "decisively" if Russia further invades Ukraine to President Volodymyr Zelensky in a call Sunday, as Russia masses troops along the border between the nations.
It's the second call on the subject within a week for Mr. Biden, who spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday.
Mr. Biden and President Volodymyr Zelensky's call came as the U.S. and Western allies prepared for a series of diplomatic meetings to try to de-escalate a crisis that Moscow said could rupture ties with Washington.

Is the media going to go ballistic demanding that biden’s interpreter tell everyone what was discussed and try to impeach biden for daring to talk to putin like they did for trump?
Why isn’t the media DEMANDING transcripts of these calls?
Russia already invaded in 2014 and the U.S. did nothing other than impose some sanctions, which is exactly what this country would do again if Russia full-on took Ukraine. Anyone that thinks the U.S. is going to war with Russia over a country most Americans couldn’t correctly point out on a world map is delusional.

Honestly, most of the Ukraine wants to go back to Russia, from what I understand, so... Let them take it. When the USSR dissolved, they requested being repatriated back into Russia, and were denied. That sentiment hasn’t changed much.

Biden is drawing a line that he need not draw, and cannot defend. But in Biden’s defense, maybe he’s on a sugar high from too much chocolate pudding. That’ll mess with your mind.
He will decisively do nothing to help Ukraine.
Weasel words have many meanings and even more interpretations.
Forget the interpreter. Subpoena the person who wrote Biden’s phone call script....
That doesn’t say much. Will they act quickly to recognize the final outcome or will they also amass a couple of hundred troops. Trump’s direct approach keeps countries out of wars because he makes the calculation very clear and evident. Russia may have, correctly, decerned that the current regime doesn’t have the consent of the governed and will therefore have very little capital to act decisively for very long. Should have let the guy with the support of the people assume power.
Will someone please explain to me what strategic interests the US has in Ukraine? They are not part of NATO are they? Are they a US partner in some Trade Agreement? I just dont get why the heck we are getting involved in that. Thanks.
