Good evening/morning, Mayor, and thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
Rested and ready to take on the new year and new week?

It’s going to be pretty to see from the window, but going out in it? I wouldn’t want to either. I had enough of the snow race track when I worked 20 miles from here. Now I stay put too. LOL!

I keep an eye on the weather so I know when I want to go out and when I want to stay home. LOL We have everything we need so barring some emergency, my lil hiney is staying put tomorrow. They SAY it will be warm enough that the snow will melt but who knows?

Wow, what a pretty day you had. Looks like Gizmo was in a frisky mood. LOL
Cloudy here, then rain for a while, and now snow.

They stay in the creek because it never freezes, but have been coming up when I call. They find some corn and squat and retract their feet to eat...it’s cold!!

Yeah, I tend to watch it, too, when things are changing so quickly. It’s 27 degrees here now, and that’s 10 degrees warmer than last night. I must say, I do sleep better when I can bundle up in my quilt.
Speaking of which, I’m gonna do pretty soon. 7:30 was waaaay too early this morning. See ya tomorrow!

Man, that creek isn’t all THAT big. They must line it quite a ways, there are so many. LOL
Poor ducks. It’s a tough life for wildlife in that kind of weather.

I keep an eye on it all the time. When it’s warm, I want to know when it will rain. Can’t stand to haul wet groceries into the house. When it’s cold, I want to know if it will snow so I know to get anything we need beforehand. Then I can stay home and wait til the roads are dry again.
I’m glad it isn’t getting as cold there tonight. Last night was wicked.
It’s been 32 here for the past several hours but now that the snow is almost out of here, it’s starting to drop.
Sleep well buried under your quilt. :-)
