The most recent study by Oxford University (randomized control trial) showed a 90% reduction in hospitalization for people with COVID.
I’ve been using povidone iodine as a nasal spray/mouthwash for months, every time I’ve gone out in public. I also used it in November when I might have had C19 - used it to knock down viral load nose/throat.
Here are the two articles I saw a good while ago - FLCCC has povidone iodine & the Cetylpyridinium chloride mouthwashes on their prophylactic/early treatment protocol:

I have for years squirted this into my water pick tank. Squeamish types won’t like the taste.
It’s NOT tasty, LOL! However, considering it is super EASY to do and is supposedly so effective, it’s worth a little ‘blech’.
The nasal spray isn’t bad - some people have a little ‘burning’ maybe, but I was fine with it. I used it about 4 times a day when sick & do the same if I’ve been out shopping.

Been told those with thyroid issues have to watch Povidine treatment....maybe not use it
Interesting.
Gargle with toothpaste first, then gargle with a couple drops of hydrogen peroxide with water. Put Vicks vaporub under your nose and on the outside of your mask.
It has turpentine enuf that will kill a horse
How do you use it as a nasal spray? What do you put it in to squirt in your nose so you don’t put too much. Only sprayers I have are for spraying garden chemicals. What would I need to get for this?
Ditto, for many months now. Researched and read about it a long time ago. No one I know is interested in learning/hearing about it. Eff’em. My world is getting VERY SMALL. It’s hard
I expect these will work.
According to the instructions provided by Dr. McCullough, you put two teaspoons of the betadiine solution into 300 ml water, and spray it in your nostrils, hawk to the back of your throat, spit it out, and rinse. (bet it tastes bad but who cares)

Later.
I buy the blue glass spray bottles they sell in Whole Foods near the aromatherapy stuff. The brown ones posted above look better suited to purpose.
Tastes like grandma.
I found a supplier for a retail product with 1.25% povidone-iodine as the active ingredient. It comes packaged in a nasal sprayer if anyone prefers that option for the sake of convenience and wants to try it.
It's much less expensive to prepare the dilute 1% povidone-iodine solution yourself. A small 4 fl oz bottle of 10% povidone-iodine can be purchased for less than $4.50. That is sufficient to make enough 1% solution to last for a very long time (years in my case).
That is true. I maybe go shopping once a week, sometimes every two weeks so just use it one day - I would think something like that would be ok (NOT medical advice!) but regular daily usage would likely not be good. I do not have thyroid problems so it’s a moot point for me. The mouthwash angle - use one of the non-povidone iodine ones.
Per the article at the link below:
“Dr. Domb says to mix half a teaspoon of the 10% Povidone Iodine solution with a 44-mL spray bottle of saline nasal spray and shake it up.”
You can buy a 1.5 ounce [44-mL] bottle of saline nasal spray - I got mine in the medicine/drug section at Food Lion (any drug store should have it). It’s in a bottle that works like the nasal spray you’d use for a stopped up nose - sprays the same way into your nostril. No need for a garden type chemical sprayer (LOL!).
