U.S. Chief Justice John Roberts aims to improve ethics training while also improving internal compliance systems after it was found in hundreds of instances where judges had ruled over cases in which they or their family owned stocks, The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday.
“Let me be crystal clear: the Judiciary takes this matter seriously. We expect judges to adhere to the highest standards, and those judges violated an ethics rule,” Roberts said in his year-end report.
Roberts went on to add that most judges strictly adhere to the guidelines laid out and that any incident where a conflict of interest was found was likely “isolated” and “unintentional.”

My perception of John Roberts: he's a career washington insider that is totally political but he desperately wants to appear non-political. So he calculatedly makes some ruling in things where it surprises people but then twists his mind into unbelievable pretzel knots to justify positions on others so he can rule in favor of something he politically desires while trying to appear as if he is just following the law (which doesn't work).
In his zeal to trick people into believing that he's not political he actually has become MORE political than he probably was before. Nobody can possible believe at this point that the man rules solely on the basis of the constitution at this point, not since Obamacare and several other eye popping positiobs he's taken.

Roberts is so corrupt it is laughable. Every since he created the path for Obamacare he has been tainted and corrupt with no way for salvation. Which became totally true during the SCOTUS refusing to hear any cases concerning election fraud.
A gallows works for me.

I don’t care to hear about ethics from the guy being blackmailed by the demonrats.

Consider that people like Roberts, and probably the majority of Supreme Court Justices likely would not have done well in a STEM field. They are not the ‘intellectual giants’ that proponents of the legal profession, and government, would have you believe.
