All seriousness aside...Taster’s Choice at Sam’s (large container) has gone up a buck and a half...maybe two dollars per container. I’m gonna start growing my own. Anybody know where I can buy an instant coffee bush?
I’ve been stocking up on Folgers and Maxwell House when it’s been on sale so I’m good for a year.
I’ve bought Ruta Maya (beans) from Costco for many years. It’s consistently $14.99 for a kilogram. Shade grown organic from Chiapas, Mexico. Roasted in Austin, Texas. Delicious.
COLD WEATHER seems to be a big part of the problem acc to this article from July

I buy my coffee from a couple of different sources. Ocean City Job Lots, ALDI and Spreeder and Earls out of Burlington VT, excellent brews and good flavor (Wife will only drink flavored coffee..)

All coffee is being affected. Duncan Donuts shot up from $6.00 to $7.72 last month.
At least popcorn is still safe. I need a lot of it what with the clown show in D.C. going on nonstop.
Fertilizer has gone up 54% since the summer. Compute that into farmers’ crops and the price at the grocery store.
speaking of “donut coffee”. We bought three large cans at WM and gave to Freedom Farm Ministries here in town. They have program for substance abusers. You should have seen the joy in their faces.
