She was also in a movie “The Proposal” (2009) with Ryan Reynolds
and Sandra Bullock. Her character MADE the comedy a classic
IMHO. One day, they’ll at last show this on the small screen.
Should that day arrive, please, don’t miss it. Her earlier
tee vee shows are still being shown on some of the retro channels available. The 2009 movie, do believe, was the
start of her successful comedy comeback, introducing her to
younger generations.
One thing for certain, when Olaf lost Rose, they lost a
treasure.
LOL!!! I believe it!
Very sad, great talent, RIP.
Incredible!
God bless her!
Well this is a shame, what I came across:
‘A supporter of gay rights, White said that “If a couple has been together all that time – and there are gay relationships that are more solid than some heterosexual ones – I think it’s fine if they want to get married. I don’t know how people can get so anti-something. Mind your own business, take care of your affairs, and don’t worry about other people so much”.’
One joke I thought was funny is she couldn’t understand how a tough person was said to have “balls”...she said it should be vaginas cause “those things take a beating”....
God had other plans.
Yes... Love the MTM show.
But I loved the Golden Girls the best.
The last of the four Golden Girls passes.
RIP BETTY WHITE!
TV recycles old material all the time. Magnum, The FBI, Hawaii 5-0, McGyver, Dynasty, Gossip Girl, Walker, Charmed. I haven't seen any of the reboots, but somebody out there has to be watching them.
What’s your point.
I forgot to mention that I HATE the Golden Girls.
My mother died one month after her 100th birthday and a friend just lost his mother 2 weeks after her 100th.
Perhaps that is one of the greatest conservative things ever said. Mind your own business. Take care of your affairs. Don’t worry about what others are doing. Seems she fits right in with the right.
RIP. A actor who displayed class her entire career.
RIP, Betty.
How sad. Just days away from reaching her 100th.
Really? Support for the lgtb agenda, pushing for the undermining of the institution of marriage, since when as that been a cornerstone of conservatism?
Yeah...last I saw her was about 5 or 6 years ago...her hair wasn’t even gray. The only thing wrong with her was she couldn’t hear.
My in laws are in their 90’s. She too is just starting to gray at the temples (I was full silver already in my 40’s). FIL had a pretty severe stroke at 92. He is not himself mentally any longer, but physically he is really good for 94. Neither of them uses any sort of walking assistance..no cane or walker
I always say I wouldn’t want to be between them and a bear, because I’d lose!
