On Sunday, Anthony “Dr. Science” Fauci said that he thought a vaccine mandate for air travel would be a great idea. On Monday, having run it up the flagpole without any salutes, he walked that idea back again. But on Tuesday, to make it impossible for Americans to plan even a day in advance, Biden put vaccines for air travel back on the table. If Democrats aren’t intentionally trying to destroy America, they’re certainly doing a good job by accident. Here’s where we are:
The CDC has long acknowledged that vaccines do not stop COVID infections or spread, so that means they’re not actually vaccines.
So-called vaccines may lessen the chances of a bad COVID infection or of getting long COVID.
Fully vaccinated people are also fully at risk for getting Omicron. A double vaxxed 75-year-old man with comorbidities died from Omicron in Israel.
Even when COVID was at its worst, for most people COVID’s survivability rate was about 99% or greater. It seems obvious that the reasons for the observably greater number of deaths are that, in a virgin population, millions of people were getting sick simultaneously, rather than the disease drifting through America year after year; COVID death counts included deaths “with” as well as “from” COVID; and the media compulsively reported on every death.

I’m a vaccinated antivaxxer. I oppose mandates. I see that these jabs aren’t what they are being billed as.
Vaccinated and unvaccinated need to stand together and refuse to participate in any activity that requires the jab.
We must bankrupt industries that comply and place the blame squarely on the politicians responsible.
I 100% agree. This is not about health, it is about control, and punishing those who don’t comply.
Having sat in on the board meetings of a multinational company, I can attest that they are concerned about regulations, rules and arbitrary actions by various government agencies at least as much as they are about their actual business. IMO this has a negative impact on their business which was always in need of more attention than they could afford to give it.
I’m 100% against mandates! The liberty lover (see Screenname) thinks you should have the choice whether to take a vaccine or not. We should stop violating the Nuremburg agreement that we signed in 194_.
However, I’m not 100% against taking the vaccine because I believe it does lessen the illness if you do get a breakthrough case, as the British study referenced in the article shows:

Requiring American citizens to be vaxxed, patted down and show their ID several times to travel while at the same time the feds are flying illegals all over the country with none of those requirements.

You are right General. This will have a negative impact on companies - it’s another “(regulatory costs) tax” with a unique distinction. The regulation may cause companies to lose very good employees who choose freedom over a mandated jab. I am trying to think if there has ever been such a regulation.
Sometimes I get impression on FR and elsewhere there is an expectation by some who believe companies must ignore implementing jab regulation, stand up and fight it. As to the fighting, many companies are fighting it (law suits, legislator outreach, etc etc) via their industry trade associations. Strength in numbers and prevents being singled out for federal harassment/prosecution starting with on site inspections (never a good thing).
But it is unreasonable to expect a company to ignore a regulation because if caught, it will cost them further in money, reputation and if done willfully, it also may involve criminal penalty as well. The stockholders would be ill served. Like most major cases, it is not the company who defends the constitutional freedoms of the individuals, it is the individuals (employees) who will take issue and try to protect his own freedom, even if the company benefits. Unfortunately, other than leftist causes finding all sorts of new rights for leftists, for a long time our courts have been blind to protecting individual freedom when givernment decides it must take it away, even when it means violating the Constitution.
My prediction is the vaxed US Supreme Court will uphold (wrongly) the mandate by a slim margin as long as there is a testing option for the employee in the regulation. I see bozo Roberts and either Kave-in-naugh or ACB joining the 4 leftist jurists for the majority opinion. This is another instance I would really like to be wrong in a SWAG on court opinions.
There are no difference between Trojan horse Xiden and the demonkkkrap party. Everyone knows if Trump were doing everything that Xiden is doing, the demonkkkrap party and its propaganda wing would be hysterically working to impeach him, etc etc.
Therefore, today, a little change in strategy. It would be far easier for Trump to all of a sudden come out and start supporting Xiden on this and all sorts of things ... I’d expect the rabid media, big tech and the demonkkkrap party to be against anything Trump supported, including Xiden.
I don’t believe his statement was limited to air travel.
