John Madden's death was confirmed on Tuesday by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell
Madden was a beloved coach for the Oakland Raiders and hugely popular commentator
Madden was only 32 when then-Raiders owner Al Davis hired him to coach Oakland in 1969
Oakland never had a losing record under Madden, winning seven division titles and making the playoffs eight times
He retired from coaching in 1978, with a fear of flying contributing to his decision to step down and take up broadcasting
Madden was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006, 28 years after coaching his final game
He remained wildly popular with young people, thanks partly to the EA Sports video game, Madden NFL

I realize there are a couple of threads on this but DM always has the best pics. They did manage to mess up his age in the title but other than that, the article is pretty extensive for Madden fans. I so miss the era of Madden. He made football interesting, humorous, fun, and always entertaining. RIP Mr. Madden.

To think that Tom Brady is older than Madden was, when Madden quit coaching.

The man really, really loved hard-nosed football, and helped many others enjoy the game.

Yeah, he was just one of those larger than life figures. The whole turducken thing still cracks me up. And clued me in to some great meals. I’m gonna miss the guy.

Fox News just described Madden's death as sudden, which I assume means unexpected. Unexpected deaths do of course occur with people who are in their eighties and overweight.
But nowadays there is another reason for sudden deaths.
I wonder what his vaxx status was.

Not a lot of people with that weight make it to 85.

Another terminator vaccine casualty.
So many “unexpected” deaths this year.
Crimes against humanity.

You know, I didn’t even think about that! Now I’m wondering. If that is the reason there should be outrage and if it is true I hope it comes out to inform the morons insisting on the “jab”.

LeBron James? Does that asshole look to insert himself into anything for lack of respect and attention?

The other articles said 85?
To: nickcarraway
Yeah...DM screwed up in the title. The rest of the article has his age correct

Fox Sports did a 90 minute biography to Madden that was broadcast Saturday. If you can find it on line etc, I do recommend it.
He was an ordinary guy who, coaching aside, who loved and broadcast the game like he was one of your best pals sitting around the rec room on a Sunday watching the game over a few beers. Nothing pretentious about him in the least

Loved him! I saw only the last 30-45 minutes of the documentary ‘All Madden’. Hopefully they will replay it now.

Well, if he was unvaccinated, the MSM would ensure that fact was in the headline.
