Agree. Also, the top 10% of wage earners pay 72% of all IRS collections. 51% pay nothing, which is why I don’t think 51% of the people should have the right to vote. When Libs say: “The rich don’t pay their fair share, I agree, and state they should get a tax cut.” Kinda fun to watch their heads explode. I also hear stupid people say that the wealth Bezos has is unfair and should be stripped away. My response: “Tell you what...you create 200,000 new jobs, all of whom pay income taxes, and see how you feel about your taxes.”

I agree. There was a great conservative talk show host in Tampa with the last name of Gold, I believe. He thought that anyone who did not have a job and pay taxes (certain exceptions apply) should not be able to vote. They don’t contribute to the Federal government and therefore should not be able to dictate who is elected.

With Democrats to win future elections they must include:
- illegal aliens
- motor-voter for the lazy among us
- 16-17 year olds
- senior citizens who can be bussed in
- minorities who can be bussed in
- senior citizen names on mail-in ballots
- minority name on mail-in ballots
- dead people
- etc. etc. etc.

Makes me want to puke...

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Ask 16 and 17-year olds what the Constitution's Article I, Section 8 is (Congress's limited powers) and report blank stares back to forum.

The ultimate remedy for unconstitutionally big, alleged election-stealing, Democratic Party-pirated federal and state governments manufacturing crises, politically correct global warming in this example imo, to oppress everybody under their boots...

Consider that the states effectively have "veto power" over continued unpopular, unconstitutional actions of the feds.

In fact, all the states can effectively “secede” from the unconstitutionally big federal government by doing the following.

Patriots need to primary federal and state elected officials who don't send voters email ASAP that clearly promises to do the following.

Federal and state lawmakers need to promise in their emails to introduce resolutions no later than 100 days after start of new legislative sessions that proposes an amendment to the Constitution to the states, the amendment limited to repealing the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments (16&17A).

In fact, I challenge the states to ram the repeal amendment for 16&17A through the ratification process faster than Nancy Pelosi irresponsibly rammed unconstitutional Obamacare through the House. /semi-sarc

Insights welcome.

“Why should military get exceptions? “

I agree with that also. Thank goodness for our soldiers but the military experience is narrower than the civilian experience.

Insanity. National suicide.
Voting age should be raised to 25, require proof of citizenship and pass a civics test.

Make it 35. It isn’t until people have had a few job losses, kids, a mortgage and health problems that they begin to understand.

I am old fashioned. Property owning and or taxpaying men and or men eligible for the draft. No one taking a penny of welfare should be allowed to vote and government employees should only count as 1/2 a vote. Go back to state legislatures appointing senators.

We are on the same page. And the math of progressive voluntary compliance (!) means that an across-the-board tax cut will go disproportionately to the "wealthy."

Any Deplorable with basic Excel skills should spend some time with the IRS' SOI files. It's a bit depressing, but it's empowering data.

And lest anyone think those "rich" people demanding higher taxes are benevolent, here they are on video refusng to do so voluntarily.
