Ha ha, that's a laugh. No one "mentions Emmett Till." He was killed by Democrats. He's as much gone as are the statues of their former southern politicians, who they're in the process of erasing from history.
When this happened, I recall the idiot-murderer saying he shot the child because the boy was riding his little bike across this guy’s lawn. I tend to think he was on some kind of drug to act with such barbarity. The night before the shooting, the family of that child had Darius over at their home as a dinner guest.
Gusepie Zangara was executed 33 days after trying to kill FDR.

My neighbor Miami Patrolman Fitzhugh Lee, was driver for FDR and he and 3 other Patrolmen ran down assailant. Later were honored by Mrs. Roosevelt! Secret Service at that time did not drive the presidents’ cars.
And the shooter was active duty military.
