Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg on Thursday rubbed it in that Vice President Kamala Harris’s thankless portfolio of responsibilities means she will never get credit for anything.
While Harris was assigned by President Biden to halt illegal immigration, a national problem the vice president has failed to solve, Buttigieg has won positive headlines in the establishment media by allocating Biden’s $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill.

Biden was wrong to assign such a project to the VP, regardless who it is. Stopping illegal immigration is the President’s job, not something he delegates. A mission to expedite materials delivery for the border wall is something a VP might handle. That said, I am not excusing Po Joe or Kammel Toe; neither one of them is worth a crap.
Funny, Trump solved it. All they had to do was incredibly simple...follow what Trump set in motion.

You are correct. In the Federal government the VP is a pretty useless position. In some other countries the second in line actually has certain responsibilities.

Even still, it would be more prudent and professional of him to say nothing about Kamala’s performance or lack thereof.
If there is ever a reversal of misfortunes, where suddenly Pete seems to be walking into one rake after the other with Kamala on what amounts to a winning streak, she will very quickly do some rubbing of her own. Both individuals are known to be vindictive and vituperative.

Exactly. If Biden had done absolutely nothing after taking office he could have cashed in on Trump’s accomplishments and would be riding high in the popularity polls.
