We went through this same crap last Christmas. Which was already nine months after "just two weeks to stop the spread."

Most of my extended family wouldn't even see my wife and I last Christmas because they were so frightened about the big bad virus. They promised to make up for it this year.

Now, in recent days, some of them are calling us and saying "It might not be a good idea for you guys to come over..." because unfortunately, they still watch mainstream media and are getting frightened all over again.

The underlying objective here of course is to destroy the family and to destroy the traditions that help keep them together such as Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Maybe this could help with family and friends.

In the US, there have been about 804,000 fatalities where covid was on the death certificatee, out of about 330MM people.

However, per CDC, about 94% of the death certificates had more than one comorbidity like diabetes, heart disease, etc. Thus, about 48,240 fatalities came purely from COVID19 or roughly 27,600 fatalities a year.

That means there is a roughly 1-in-12,000 chance of dying from COVID19 each year.

By contrast, there is a 1-in-8,393 chance of dying in a car crash annually.

In other words, there is greater risk of dying in the car ride to the Christmas Celebration than in the Celebration itself.

Now, that's math. You can't fake math.

I doubt it'll help, but it can't hurt.
