POINTS Former President Donald Trump says he received a booster vaccine shot for Covid-19 “Oh don’t!” Trump said, waving his hand as some people in an audience in Dallas at a show with former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly seemed to react negatively to him saying he got the booster. A relatively large percentage of Republican voters have refused to get even initial doses of the coronavirus vaccines. GOP governors around are resisting vaccine and mask mandates.

“Best form of intelligence in my book is possessing above average common sense.”
To some extent I really do believe that. I have a pretty high IQ and all that jazz but take it with a grain of salt. I’m smart in some things, but sometimes clueless and wrong about other things because I sometimes fall for the bs myself. It’s a human thing, and I have to try and let it not corrupt my own thinking because of ego or whatever. These days I’m somewhat more inclined to try and win people over to my perspective rather than to just trash them for being ignorant. We are all in the same boat, don’t let these evil pricks divide us, there’s too much at stake here. We need to bring all people as much as possible to a certain level of understanding as much as possible. There is some evil sht going on here and I’m not usually of the organized religious sort. But I do have a certain intuitive insight where things are going evil and wrong. That is where we are now.
The data from hospital is clearly saying unvaxxed are low on natural immunity scale since 5 times more unvaxxed people needed hospitalization than vaxxed people.
Not to me it doesn’t. It’s always been about personal choice.
While I don’t think the ‘vaccines’ are completely ineffective, there are enough problems that I’ve seen here and elsewhere that tells me the FDA Approval process was cut down drastically - for mostly political reasons.
The fact that the vaccines got rushed and then turned into a political weapon is not Trump’s fault, IMO.
Those are wise words in your post. Thanks for posting.
United we stand, divided we fall is still true.
That person doesn't like him!
I got a booster, too. I’m not getting the next twenty, though.
My best observation regarding side effects is my immediate family. All 7 of us from age 28-81 had first jab in early 2021. By next week we all will have had 3 jabs total. There is not even a small adverse effect for anyone except sore shoulder for 1-3 days. If I can handle 3 jabs at age 81, and my wife can handle the jabs after 50+ chemo treatments and dozen radiation treatments for stage-4 cancer in 4 years, I really must believe these vaccines are a nothing burger to cause adverse effects.
My guess is, just like the annual flu shot, the boosters will become an annual event.
He’s the one who spearheaded the quick approval and development. He’s the one who warp-speeded production and distribution. He could have refused it if he wanted to, and nobody would have thought the worse of him for it. He’s over seventy. He can do what he wants. So can everyone else.
Maybe. I forgot to take my annual flu shot.
I agree 100% there should be no government imposed mandates on any medical procedures. And no lockdowns for healthy young people ever. Protect only the vulnerable with many comorbidities and be done with it.
David Dinkins needed votes. Andrew Cuomo needed votes.
They made their choice for the votes and lost whatever heroism they might have earned.
We’ll see if Trump can have both. If not, I’m sure he won’t be shedding any tears.
He’s encouraging others to do likewise, but as a matter of choice, not because Foe Jiden a/k/a Brandon, a/k/a Joseph Stolen orders anyone to.
I took 3 shots of covid vaccines and 1 shot of flu vaccine. And feeling as good as ever, and never got sick with symptoms from either disease in 2021.
No. President Trump has never supported mandates - that’s the important thing.
Why are multiple weapon in the quiver a bad thing?
Right now I’ve got a slight cough that I got from my son, who refuses to see a doctor and get antibiotics. 19 years old. You know. He’s worse off than me, but stubborn and foolish. Other than that, I’m getting into good shape, exercising and eating right.
I worked actively against health insurance mandates in Obamacare. And I am opposed to any government mandates for all medical procedures.
What do you mean “we,” kimosavee.
My advice to Trump, fwiw, is to concentrate on providing secure elections
and let the doctors be responsible for their medical successes and failures.
