Harvard University will go remote again in January due to the spread of the Omicron variant.
“Please know that we do not take this step lightly,” university president Lawrence Bacow wrote in a memo to students and staff sent Saturday and obtained by The Post. “Public health experts anticipate the increase in COVID-19 cases to continue, driven by the Omicron variant, which we have now confirmed is already present in our campus community.”

The fascist left is extremely delighted to be Heavy Handed, like with a fist.
The Ivy League is mostly glorified daycare and diapering services for spoiled entitled rich brats of the elite. No need to bother actually going to class, since they’ll all (mostly) be getting the degrees mommy and daddy bought for them. The suckers are those who don’t have pre-arranged connections to “royalty” who are only going to get $300K in non-dischargeable debt for a worthess “*-studies” professional whining degree. There’s only so much room on Congress for more “squad” members.
If it’s so dangerous, why wait until January?????
Many, if not most universities/colleges are closed down for the holidays and midterm.
Our cul de sac looks like a used vehicle market with all of the kids driving home.

“Please know that we do not take this step lightly,”
Just think of the fixed costs we are going to save in heat and electricity alone.
...oh, and no refunds or pro-rated tuition.
As a token, Harvard will be sending each of you an ivy cutting with instruction to plant by your entry way or trellis is you have one.
These colleges are going to announce closings in such a fast cascade over the next few days it won’t be possible to keep up.
