Covington Catholic graduate Nicholas Sandmann says he reached another settlement with a member of news media, this time with NBC.
Sandmann, a 19-year-old from Kentucky, announced on social media he had reached the settlement. The settlement with NBC marks his third settlement with a news outlet following CNN and the Washington Post.
"At this time I would like to release that NBC and I have reached a settlement," Sandmann wrote Friday. "The terms are confidential."
Documents filed Friday in federal court in Kentucky showed both sides agreed to dismiss the case without a judgment from the court, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.
Sandmann became the center of attention after a viral confrontation between him and a Native American man named Nathan Phillips at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., after attending events associated with the March for Life with classmates from Covington Catholic. Sandmann, wearing a "MAGA" hat, smiled at Phillips, an attendee of the Indigenous Peoples March who sang and played a drum in front of the teenager.

Enter the Sandmann.
Nicholas will never be lonely on a Friday night.
Yeah. By the Pale Face.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.........
Rittenhouse up next.
NBC is still on the air after this?
“Another scalp taken?”
Why are these settlements confidential? Isn’t the amount newsworthy? What about transparency? What about the public’s right to know? What about the integrity of journalists? Why can the NY Times and Washington Post find leakers at every government agency, Congress, White House, corporation, non-profit, military, federal court, FBI, and CIA yet cannot find a leaker at NBC to spill the beans as to how much NBC paid?
I do hope it is for a shitload of cash! :-)
An example must be made....
I remember how he was treated by odious, sneering Samantha Guthrie.
Does she have to wash his cars for life?
We'll never know until we learn the terms.
There in lies the rub.
Broadcasting
Company
Sandmann got millions so that's why it is confidential.
One thing Sandmann should demand, and it wouldn’t be “confidential”, is an on-air public apology.
Nick should be the new Chief of NBC, giving it a complete swabbing from stem to stern.
