A Central York School District elementary teacher has been fired after threatening to shoot school officials over COVID-19 protocols, according to reports.
Chad Gerrick, who taught math and science at Sinking Spring Elementary School, is accused of threatening to “shoot all the em... at the ESC” FOX43 reported.
Online court docents show Gerrick was charged with misdemeanor terroristic threats on Oct. 8. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for early December, but the dockets don’t list any results from a hearing.
The threat was made after the removal of a plastic barrier that was put up in his classroom as a safety measure against COVID-19, police shared with FOX43.
Gerrick told school officials that if he got sick with COVID-19, he would spread it to everyone he could at the school, police told the outlet.
The Central York School Board voted to fire Gerrick at Monday’s meeting,
CBS21 reports that a search warrant of Gerrick’s car found nothing, but when investigators went to his West Manchester Township home, nine long guns and one pistol were found.
Both outlets reported that Gerrick was on suspension until he was fired. Court dockets show he posted a bond for his $25,000 unsecured bail.

Peoples insanity over covid and the shots sounds like it’s exactly what Biden and this administration wants......the more civil unrest there is the happier they are.
Never thought I’d see the day where I fully oppose our government as I have since Biden and his administration have created all the hatred and violence and lawlessness we’re seeing.....and doing nothing at all about it but feeding it more and more every day.
Everything they are doing to this country is destructive.....that’s what coups do when it’s an enemy from within.

The school had a “Safety Plan” as required by the PA Department of Education.
Chad didn’t think it went far enough so he made a DIY plexiglass barrier.
The school ordered it removed and Chad went full Karen.
Yeah. That’s a weird story.
The thing about liberals is that in tough times they won’t survive.
