On Wednesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) said that “we are never going to get our lives back to normal, never going to see our economy working in the way we want it to, our businesses open,” until the coronavirus is defeated.
While discussing the coronavirus situation in New Hampshire, Shaheen stated that New Hampshire doesn’t have as good a vaccination rate as the rest of New England, “So, we need to continue to encourage people to get their vaccinations, to get boostered, and to continue to wear facemasks, to do all of the things that we know work in this pandemic. Because until we defeat COVID, we are never going to get our lives back to normal, never going to see our economy working in the way we want it to, our businesses open, the ability of families to enjoy — and especially at this holiday season — we want people to be able to enjoy their families, to be able to get rest, and not have to worry about COVID.”

People have been talking about moving the goal posts for nearly two years. What they are really doing is setting the bar ever higher.

Those who profit from the madness need never concede the undefined standard of “defeating civid” is met. Coronoviruses have been around for tens of millions of years. A new one just became endemic. Back before the crazy narrative started people understood there was going to be a curve...the one it was proposed we flatten. The curve goes up then down. Sometimes at different times for differemt areas. Sometimes again for a variant. Its what happens. Its not the virus we must defeat, its those that are promoting and exploring the panic over the virus that we must defeat. And the key players must be taken to social, financial, and criminal ruin and made an example of. Too many people have died unnecessarily as they have suppressed effective mitigation in favor of what profited them.
They keep promising back to normal, but we can’t go back. It is impossible. The 4th Industrial Revolution is already 4-5 years in process. Implementation has begun, it is simply not televised, yet.
I’d say too many Republican men are weak, and we have to lean on the Republican women. Well, except for Liz Cheney.
Stop treating COVID as something it is not. If the politicians stopped their crap and the news stoped reporting it would be gone over night. Yes, it is real and people will get sick but nothing like how they make it out to be. Also, start paying attention to businesses you visit, there are COVID measure that will never go away. As I type this I am in a restaurant, at the entrance is a high end, permanently installed IR camera scanning everyone, its not going away. Also businesses who invested in fancy plexiglass shields are not taking them down either.
It’s about defeating the people.
You defeat it by letting it run through the population and giving obese people ivermectin.
...OR you could simply make the cheap, plentiful and proven-effective Ivermectin available everywhere which is KNOWN to cure COVID.
The Covid Con will end when enough people have died from the deadly jabs and the public trials of Big Pharma executives and their subsequent hangings for mass murder have taken place.
Was able to watch the opening of the Today show. Reminded me of when the Russian hoax was at its peak. The headlines were introduced with the dread electronic swoosh sounds that portends complete disaster, then panicked statistics were reeled out on top of one another about the impending onslaught of the covid viruses. It’s all over, the end of the world, and then a smiling clip of Fauci saying we now have tools — get vaccinated or get boosted.
I have seen several businesses that have removed those idiotic shields and that other nonsense.
I guess that it all depends on where you live.

Dunno about the rest of you. Children play freely without maskies, only about 35% of the population is fearfully wearing masks.
I’m glad to hear they are removing the shields, I hate them. Unfortunately not were I am at.
