THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- The Los Angeles Rams added wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and eight other players to the reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday, the team announced.
In addition to Beckham, defensive back Terrell Burgess, tight end Brycen Hopkins, defensive back JuJu Hughes, offensive tackle Alaric Jackson, defensive tackle Sebastian Joseph-Day and safety Jordan Fuller were added to the list, while defensive end Jonah Williams and defensive back Tyler Hall were also added as practice squad members.
Further, tight end Tyler Higbee was removed from the reserve/COVID-19 list, confirming that he missed a 30-23 victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football because of a false positive. >snip<"The scary thing about all this to me is every single person is vaccinated that we're talking about," McVay said. "That's the thing that's the most concerning about all of this is that everybody has done exactly what they could. I trusted these guys have taken the right precautionary measures ... Now you're adding a lot of layers to this situation that we thought we were past and that's the thing that I think is the most mind-numbing about it all for me."

The Omicron variant is very contagious but thankfully usually results in only a mild illness. The NFL has a very woke, mandatory aggressive testing program. It may very well be that in 3-6 weeks the number of positive cases among players and staff will skyrocket. the playoffs and the Super Bowl could be in jeopardy. There is a huge amount of money at stake. It will be amusing to watch the oh so progressive NFL owners squirm and scramble.
How is that scientifically possible?
NBA too. Chicago Bulls cancelled their series with Detroit. They can’t field a team, 10 players and coaches out. Another team has 3 out, next two weeks in doubt.
It’s so stupid to keep blaming the unvaccinated. Unless all these people lied about their vaccine status? In any case it is clear that the vaccines don’t stop the spread of or infection from covid. Being jabbed just increases your sense of protection and raises your inhibitions (going out, socializing etc) and thus this is now a pandemic of the vaccinated infecting other vaccinated.
Beckham had a kick ass game just last night. Tonight...COVID restricted list? WTF? It’s just a bad cold - if you have symptoms. Yes, I’ve had it. NBD. Will this paranoia ever end?

He did have a great game last night. One of the better games I’ve watched this year.
I caught a report on the NBA and their sudden increase of players with covid.
The guy said that “it could be because they are now also testing vaccinated players” and that they weren’t testing vaccinated players before!
So they could have been running around carrying and spreading covid around the whole time!
For a time I thought they were in a “bubble” but I guess that ended.
But the virus takes from 3-14 days to develop, and then should clear in a healthy person within 10-14 days. So it seems unlikely this has much to do with testing. They would seemingly have recently caught it. Or they have a lot of false positives.
LeBron was out a few games. He had 3 tests. First positive. Second negative. Third, positive and so by rule he was out. No 4th or 5th tie-breakers. Hard to know if the tests are 33% defective or 66% defective.

I think it is probably just a way to fix games and decide who makes the playoffs. All you have to do is say a few of the best players on a team have coof and you are on your way.
I’m just pointing out that there was an entire group of athletes that were not even tested.
And the reason was that they were vaccinated.
Now that its finally being accepted that being vaccinated does not stop you from catching the covid flu, they got caught with extra positive results because of their lack of testing everyone.
Yes. And if true it was preposterous theater. Everyone knows the vaccine doesn’t stop the spread of covid. You can catch it, you can spread it, vaxxed or not. So what is their operating assumption? They just assumed vaxxed players wouldn’t catch it? Seems they have it backwards. If the vaccine is the best we can do to prevent severe illness or death, then the vaccinated are a risk to the unvaccinated, not the other way around.
But I wouldn’t expect much more I guess. There has been so much government sponsored misinformation it’s sort of comical that the media censors what they call “misinformation”. There is something else going on. It isn’t science and it isn’t truth and it isn’t for the public interest. But what’s the league to do but to play along to play ball? They do it for China, they’d certainly do it for our administrative overlords.
