Yes. And if true it was preposterous theater. Everyone knows the vaccine doesn’t stop the spread of covid. You can catch it, you can spread it, vaxxed or not. So what is their operating assumption? They just assumed vaxxed players wouldn’t catch it? Seems they have it backwards. If the vaccine is the best we can do to prevent severe illness or death, then the vaccinated are a risk to the unvaccinated, not the other way around.
But I wouldn’t expect much more I guess. There has been so much government sponsored misinformation it’s sort of comical that the media censors what they call “misinformation”. There is something else going on. It isn’t science and it isn’t truth and it isn’t for the public interest. But what’s the league to do but to play along to play ball? They do it for China, they’d certainly do it for our administrative overlords.
My thought was that not testing vaccinated players was an incentive to the unvaccinated. Get the shot and we won’t shove a q-tip up your nose all the time
