China plans to roll out a fleet of hypersonic 10-passenger aircraft capable of flying anywhere in the world within the space of an hour thanks to 12,000mph speeds

A hypersonic aircraft is being built by China to fly 10 people anywhere on the planet within an hour.

Images of the futuristic prototype show it with a pair of delta wings which unlike the Concorde, is built with upward pointing tips.

Thanks to an advanced aerodynamic design, China's hypersonic plane with soar through the sky at a staggering five times the speed of sound....

Could such a vehicle be produced that does not exceed the number of Gs survivable by human occupants?

1 minute at 9g comes to 11846 mile per hour.

Still need to decelerate, though, if delivering precious cargo.

I never understood why supersonic coast to coast planes never took off domestically here in the US, let alone international travel.

Yeah, you’ve got the sonic boom problem but, at the coast, you fly out over the ocean a few dozen miles and then turn around and punch it - or fly high enough first to not be a problem

If I’m not mistaken,g forces would be greatest on takeoff.

I don’t think you would take off at maximum speed.

Humans can stand 100 g’s for a few seconds, 10 g’s for not much more than minutes and under 10 g’s for long periods.

I am guessing it is the cost of fuel consumption. The Concorde burned 3.5X the fuel of a 747. I also read that it burned 2 tons of fuel just during taxing, takeoff and after touchdown.

We can’t do that because our leaders are too concerned about equity and social justice oh, and climate change. China is building coal factories and India is getting more fossil fuels too. If the US cancels fossil fuels to help the climate but other countries won’t how are we changing climate change globally. We will just become weak and outdated and the others will thrive. How stupid are our leaders.

Why not a half hour since they are making stuff up.

Hard to tell who’s a bigger BSer at this point: China or Elon.

people often interpret this as the leader having some sort of magical engine-powered throne

in reality its the people getting rid of the leader by launching him into orbit

I respectfully disagree with your math here. At 100gs my body would have a force of 28,000lbs exerted on it. I doubt I could take that kind of pressure, even for a few seconds, without sustaining damage. BTW, I have been subjected to 4gs before, and that felt pretty doggone rough.

Yeah, you’ve got the sonic boom problem but, at the coast, you fly out over the ocean a few dozen miles and then turn around and punch it - or fly high enough first to not be a problem

It seems to you (a stationary observer on the ground) that the sonic boom is only a momentary phenomenon, and you assume that it means, "Oh, he has just now exceeded the speed of sound."

The supersonic aircraft "drags" a cone of compressed air behind it wherever it goes. This cone does not magically disappear after supersonic speeds are attained, so it isn't a question of, "Oh, I'm now travelling at Mach 2.0 and so am no longer producing a sonic boom."

Regards,
