What do you mean that prices are going up? Just print more money! It worked for the Zimbabweans, Germans, and Venezeleans and numerous other countries that inflated their currency (deflated the buying power of the currency). Did this ever happen before gold and silver were currency of the realm?
Well, to think about it, when plundered Spanish gold was flooding Spain, the cost of goods probably went up considerably, if only temporarily.
And during any gold rush the price of goods went up based on their scarcity and abundance of gold. But then the gold was distributed among many and goods came more readily available.
The whole of the crack Biden team have a serious distortion of reality. Propane has more than doubled in price since a year ago. Multiply the numbers of consumer who made the same conclusion about a product they purchase and watch the Dims scurry back to the dark.
Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is the very definition of insanity. Just watch as DemocRats take over once conservative city after another and then implement the exact same policies that have repeatedly failed miserably in the cities and states they left.

I lived and worked in Venezuela in the 70s pre Chavez. The currency was tied to the American Dollar. At 4.25 Bolivars to the dollar. It was as good as the dollar. I kept all my funds in Venezuela in Bolivars as it was good until I went back to the States and then my local bank transferred my funds to the USA at 4.25 bolivars to the dollar. Today the bolivar is worth 5,200,000 to the US Dollar. The Bolivar today is worth just about like toilet paper.
It was a lovely country. Marxism destroyed it. Even more oddly it sits on the greatest reserves of oil in the world. It should be a shining beacon of wealth and prosperity. It is a failed nation.
